>>Then you haven't been paying attention. People were already tired of the Amber trashers way before Allred got involved.<<
*Some* people you mean. I wasn't tired of it. I'm not tired of it.
Free speech is still allowed here, isn't it?
To: Howlin
Perhaps you're paying too much time reading unfounded gossip and not really getting into the meat of the case. That could be!
There was the matter of fetal homicide, but that's been handled now.
hmmm....
Unless you're talking about MPD manipulating the media and Laci's family against Scott, and possibly some search warrant issues, I don't see anything.
I'm open....

Free speech is still allowed here, isn't it? Yes. And nobody has to respect one word you post.

Yes, professing his innocense is one thing BUT...forgiving them for not believing him??? Would be insult to injury, just plain sadistic.
To: Howlin
Tell them that too but my job is to guide them. Scott Peck says (if I might paraphrase) one's actions determine one's character and then one's character determine's one's actions. Start taking a few wrong actions and before you know it you are down the wrong path. What I really see in Amber's case which I think is confirmed by her Dad's comments is how vulnerable young single mother's are in this cold cruel world.I am not trying to judge her. My point is that on a legal level her character except as to veracity is totally inadmissable.SP stated he told her he was single.

Free speech is still allowed here, isn't it? Never was. This is a private forum. Not an issue. Wrong thing to say.
The question is whether it for Howlin et al to decide what speech is allowed.

It may have been designed as a cooking area only--one of those small, narrow deals that was popular when the house was built. Not a large, eat-in deal but a "compact, narrow job. Don't know. Haven't seen dimensions and sq. footage. Have you?

Oh.......FR has territorial rights now? Jim hadn't mentioned that. When did it start?
Am I to interpret your last sentence as a threat. Let me assure you.......that is a big mistake.

Guess you had sufficient width. LOL
My 16 year old had a mechanical widener that had to be adjusted every week or so to widen hers. Six months with a piece of screw-jack shoring in her mouth. Miserable. Had we waited another year they would have had to have operated.

>>Be careful what you say lol. <<
Thanks for the heads up but I was here last night and got an eyeful. I'm ashamed I didn't speak up then.
This is an open forum and if one can say they think "poor litle Amber" is a saint, then I can also say I don't *think* that way about her at all. My opinion of Amber is as valid as anyone elses. Those that don't like it don't have to like it.
I know I'm in for some baiting so again thanks for the heads up.

You look at "weirdos" like Manson and Richard Ramirez and you think 'what did you expect' ... but the Bundys, Gacys, and Petersons in the world are more scary, because they appear so ... normal. They are master deceptor's until you really dig deep, then they can't keep the lies straight. This guy I knew & worked with was charming enough. He was far and away the best salesman I've ever met.
One time I watched him do something I cannot account for. He had an older lady at his desk (he particularly appealed to older lady clients). She pulled a cigarette out of her purse -- this was back in the days when smoking was allowed.
He was *not* looking at her. He was looking at his computer, which was in approximately the opposite direction.
Without skipping a beat, he pulled out a lighter and reached over and lit her cigarette.
I have thought of that many times. I've wondered how he could possibly have done that. I even checked the reflections from his computer screen.
It is not possible. No one could have done that. But I saw him do it.
The only explanation I can think of is that psychopaths like him are capable of getting well inside the minds of other people. Much further than most other people could ever get. That is why he was such a good salesman. He *knew* what individual people wanted to be told. It wasn't a matter of sales pitches. He could feel them. He knew what they were thinking.
He was a very dangerous person. You wouldn't want to be around him.

So what? Am I supposed to cry or what? Now we are playing on a level field.

Ditto.

"I think we were looking at two different things!"LOL! Yes we diffenitly were. There are two fireplaces in that house.
Did you also notice the mattress and box springs covering what I believe to be a BIG WINDOW? Evidently there are no curtains to draw there so Scott put them against the window so no one could look in or see a light on at night.
Even if it is a solid sheet of vinyl if it is the kind I think it is it has some up and down grooves where it would be hard to see if you have got all the blood mopped up.

What I thought looked a bit odd about the house layout was that the front door appears to open into the dining room (where the mattresses are up against the windows). Maybe there is a different front door but I couldn't see it in the NE pics.
