Term limits always imply/ied a mistrust of the people -- the "mobs" if you will that elected Roosevelt for 4 terms.
Term limits or some sort of time limitation on office holding are as old as the Athenian democracy--in fact it is an invention of the Athenians.

Gosh I guess that he never got to destroy that part of the constitution! This meglomaniac thinks he can win again, yet he never got 50% of the vote in either of his terms. Funny thing is that Bush would have beaten him!

It will never happen. It would require a two thirds majority. Republicans will never vote for it when there is a Democrat in office and Democrats will never vote for it when there is a Republican in office. Nope, never gonna happen.

So many dresses yet to stain...
So many interns yet to treat like two-legged humidors...
So many lies yet to tell...
... and so little time.

Clinton said he was writing his memoirs, which were due to be published in the autumn of 2004, although he said they may be out before then. And miss trying to effect the next election?

I hate to suggest it, Mia, but you might want to put a clothes pin over your nose before venturing in to read The Groper's latest 'revelation'.

shit bag Klinton
To: Kath
Why can't he just go to the courts (9th circuit) and get the 22nd Amendment declared unconstitutional?????
To: sonsofliberty2000
I don't think Clinton's getting as much free poontang as he used to get when he was president. To ask for an Amendment to change the Constitition - he must be hurtin'.
