Hillary Goes to Wal-Mart (FR DC Chapter mentioned)
The Weekly Standard ^ | June 23, 2003 | Matt Labash

Posted on 06/14/2003 8:41:38 AM PDT by Gary Seven

Fairfax, Virginia IT'S HARD TO DESCRIBE the electricity one feels when crossing this Northern Virginia strip-mall parking lot to attend Hillary Clinton's "Living History" book-signing. But I haven't been this excited about Wal-Mart since my one-hour photos came back in 25 minutes. It makes me feel all sprightly and young again--as if it were 1998.

That's such a horrible picture. I would just die if someone took a close up of me like that. Hillary and I are the same age and I am sure that I would'nt look any better, although I hate to admit it.

Just after the impeachment a photographer from my husband's alma mater was allowed to photograph Hillary in a private intervies, the pictures were published the allumni mag. and were just horrendous. They showed every wrinkle, the bags under her eyes and all the hair on her face. I couldn't believe that she let them publish the pictures.

Great job folks. Once again all of you have done us proud. Sounds like everyone had a great time and got the message out loud and clear. Were there any drive=by protestors? Any honks for you guys?

Guess I am a little behind on this but summer w/ 2 boys is always a busy time. But glad I was lurking on the posts. This made my day. hehehe

All of your pics Anglewood are great, and went on WEBSHOTS and boy you have them ALL!! I was especially interested in the ones taken at the Michael Moore freep, looked as if there was a discussion between THE BIG FAT IDIOT and kristen. What is up with that? Is there a post on this subject? I searched buy nothing came up. Do you have a link? I am curious, like I said I am pretty behind.

Again thanks for all you do ALL the time. It is an honor knowing of people like you.

Ok, 'pod...I'm going to sound really ignorant...and forgive me, I'm but a "young" (time in) FReeper...but what's the significance of that shirt???
"Fry Mumia" is a PARODY of the "Free Mumia" signs seen at many leftist rallies, and it drives them NUTS!
For MORE information about the cop killer loved by the left, see this SHORT EXCERPT from Salon.com:

Mumia's millions
The calls of gullible whites for a Mumia Abu-Jamal retrial is reminiscent of their Black Panther worship in the '60s.

- - - - - - - - - - - -
By Joan Walsh

July 10, 1999 | I have no idea whether Mumia Abu-Jamal killed Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981. Vanity Fair's new revelation -- that a visitor says Abu-Jamal admitted the murder in a prison conversation in the early 1990s -- doesn't necessarily prove his guilt (though the well-researched article doesn't leave lots of room for doubt). In fact, the revelation of Abu-Jamal's private conversation with a visitor made me feel a tad sorry for the celebrated prisoner, who's been embraced by the loony left as though he was the reincarnation of the Rosenbergs, Huey Newton and George Jackson combined.

But Abu-Jamal's former prison visitor, Philip Bloch of the Pennsylvania Prison Society, says he finally revealed the alleged confession out of "disgust" with the militant idiocy of Abu-Jamal's supporters. The heartsick do-gooder, who's now a substitute teacher, says he was driven to honesty, after years of keeping the conversation secret, by the way Abu-Jamal's supporters have tormented Faulkner's widow, Maureen, for the crime of believing the Pennsylvania prisoner was correctly convicted.

I know how Bloch feels. The Mumia cult sickens me like little else in American politics today. For the white left, it's Black Panther worship all over again, with even less to worship. At least the Panthers, for all their violence and corruption, purported to be about economic uplift and breakfast programs for children and black self-determination in a city, Oakland, Calif., run by a white Republican machine left over from the 1940s. Abu-Jamal has done little but run a one-man self-promotion machine from prison...

LOL ! I love the graph! :O)

It drives me bonkers too when an article is excerpted and not a WP/LAT source.

It's bad enough that we must endure those even, but at least there's a reason.

Apathetic and lazy, sometimes, some people. Yet the lemmings that came to the very-hard-to-find Fairfax Wal-Mart to queue up for hours to see Hillary were neither apathetic nor lazy.

They are believers. Beleivers in the same myth-basis about which the media spins its tales. That Government, that the all-caring feel-your-pain Nanny-State, is the deity-level messiah, and that The Clinton's are white-clad, shining halos of good-feeling and tolerance, the Abraham and the Sarah of that faith.

They believe that Freepers are vile hateful racist white geeks, that GOP is greedy, evil, mean, ever lying, that all our complaints about the Clintons are unfounded political vendetta and just plain meaness.

Such is the nature of True Believers that every report heard or seen that counters that world-view is ignored on it's face. A heresy, no more need be heard.

Mumia Abu Jamal (Wesley Cook) is a convicted cop killer that shot the cop execution style in Philadelphia. I believe he was associated with the Black Panthers.

His brother saw him do the deed and has never recanted.

The Far Left has made Mumia an icon and elevated him to political prisoner status. Hence, at their protests, one can see "Free Mumia" t-shirts and signs and the like.

Hence "Fry Mumia." It drives 'em absolutely ballistic. The lefties froth at the mouth at the mere mention of this. I have videotape to prove it.

I quietly snipped it while you weren't looking. When I saw the URL, I thought it looked like one of Paul's.

His URL's are quite unique, and easy to spot.

Good one, Paul !!
