Protest actions and slogans against the regime have started for the 6th consecutive night "inside" main Iranian universities and especially in the Capital despite the encerclment of these facilities by the special forces.

Hundreds of students are shouting slogans against the regime and singing the banned Iranian National Anthem.

Students are requesting the immediate release of their arested and kidnapped colleagues, the resignation of the Universities managements, the expell of Intelligence members acting as students, the public trial of those involved in the last days of repression and a Free Election on the choice of the future Iranian regime.

The students are awaiting the residents to join them later this evening and many Iranians are getting ready to come back into streets from 22:00 (local time) despite knowing all dangers and risks.

Earlier today, sporadic clashes happened when groups of plainclothes men attacked forming gathering of young Iranians. These attacked took place in the Nazi-Abad, Vali-Asr and Dolat areas simulataneously which let believe of a new startegy of the regime to spread fear before the start of what can be named as a 6th consecutive night of unrest in preparation.

Brutal militiamen and members of Intelligence used of knives, clubs and chaines but young freedom fighters have retaliated.

Several have been injured but the plainclothes men have left the scenes after their commando style attacks.

"Earlier today, sporadic clashes happened when groups of plainclothes men attacked forming gathering of young Iranians."

Your own people are going to have to deal with this. You need to form triplets of
people with the discipline to observe these attacks without interfering. Follow the group
of thugs, and pick off "tail end charlie". In these groups there is always some stupid
ba$tard that misses the signal to move on and gets himself seperated. It will be the most
heartwrenching thing to endure seeing someone beaten, stabbed, and maybe slain.
But, disciplined action will reduce casualties in the long run.

At several occasion, brutal plainclothes men were captured by the demonstrators and were attached to trees.

"attached to trees" has just entered the FR lexicon. :D

Thanks freedom, I keep forgetting that it's summer over there and the people won't be out on the streets until after it cools off. I should know better since I live in Phoenix but I still stuck to the computer most of the night hoping for news.

May God send a host of angels to protect the people.

That's great... We're going to have to remember the phrase 'Attached to a tree' for future events.

I just love that phrase. It's funny, it's sinister, and it projects a real "can-do" attitude, all at the same time.

"tained" could have been "detained" with the "de" dropped in an email?

RE #21

Yes, some basic guerilla tactics are in order. In addition to your tactic, they should create many small groups of at most a few dozen, and move into an unguarded place and do a quick protest to draw attention of vigilantes and escape into alleys before thugs get to them, only to regoup again in another unguarded place and protest again. This would make vigilantes really disoriented.

No doubt about it, "attached to trees" has entered the lexicon!

I just wonder if they are using rope, or nails?
