Just a fast grab of links related to Iran. May freedom come to them without too much bloodshed.

I just culled these links- anyone else is welcome to add any more they find. This has a lot of potential as a big development.

Thanks. Just think: 1 member of the axis of evil down, 1 toppling...and one to go.

The greatst horror will come after will liberate North Korea, and meet the millions of victims of the Stalinist regime.

Thanks so much for the links, backhoe. You and Dr.Zin
have done a tremendous job keeping us up to date with
the latest from Iran. Here's hoping that the council
of guardians become the 21st century equivalent
of the House of Romanov circa 1918.

Amen to that- there is no greater blessing than freedom and liberty, and there's hardly a country on Earth where it's more absent. One day, the oppressors will fall...

Anything new? Did anyone hear anymore about the 3 students who were killed on the buses? We haven't heard anything for hours.

Thanks Ernest, I read it as soon as you posted it. I was hoping to hear about the aftermath. I guess sort of an "after action report". Looks like the mad mullahs have clamped down on the news and nothing is getting out. We'll have to wait until freedom44 and others start hearing from inside.

AFP has realeased an "after action report" of sorts, even though in is short om details. One thing that is noticable is how the mainstream wire reports are far less "dramatic" than the ones from zagros or SMCCDI:

"Thousands in Tehran for sixth night of anti-regime protests

Monday, June 16, 2003 - ©2003 IranMania.com

TEHRAN, June 16 (AFP) - Thousands of people demonstrated near Tehran university's main campus Sunday in a sixth straight night of anti-regime protests, AFP reporters on the scene and witnesses reported.
The protesters again converged on the Amir Abad campus in cars, as they have been doing since a gathering of a few hundred students on Tuesday night quickly swelled into a protest by several thousand people.

Gunshots of indeterminate origin sounded in the vicinity, according to unconfirmed reports.

Protestors have jammed the streets of Tehran's capital in cars every night since then.

Police and armed vigilantes were again out in force, as a tough crackdown by Iranian authorities have dampened the protests."
