I don't think so, you are FAMOUS now, with the many tasks, chores, and obligations that entails. I, myself, was almost ready to be sympathetic to you, to "let you off the hook", so to speak.

But, and curse it if you will, then I saw your tag line. Who? you might ask. Who? saw it? Yes.....(as the 17 year old child might say). One of my faves.

I have a feeling before his work this week goes down the old memory lane, we will see a lot more erasing of hard discs, servers and other data.

I dced going to World Net Daily for the same reasons I stopped going to Capital Hill Blue's site.

WND has a few good writers like Barbara Simpson. I will just wait and read her threads on Free Republic.

News Max is hit and miss.

Both had a grain of salt with me too for about a year and a half now.

Like you, I have gotten even more skeptical of most news sources. Any source that cites a Reuters, AFP or most AP stringers, loses me as a reader. Yahoo started hiding the fact that Reuters or AFP was writing the articles they cited for news during the Iraq war. After a little digging, most of their stories on Iraq evolved from Reuters or AFP. They were totally unreliable and quagmire pushing.

Update: Just because you got the source of the original story to recant / correct at Capital Hill Blue - it ain't over by a long shot. It continues to wage havoc on truth in media.

As of 7:30AM 7/11/03, the uncorrected CHB story about lieing about uranium from Africa to Iraq is still being quoted as gospel on all places - Fox News Channel. Plus, it was their public question of the day.
