Interesting follow-up question. So, looks like about half the McClintock supporters would pretty much sit on their hands if McC pulls out of the race.

FYI, in the last Presidential election, no one asked what Nader's numbers would be if Bush dropped out. When you're in third, you're in third.

The polling on this is going to be unreliable because some folks won't go to poll and or won't vote for recalll if they don't see their candidate. Also, the estimate of turn out by party are not going to be easy to predict.

I would hope that at least Ueberoth would drop out soon, to at least allow the McClintock vs. Arnold cagematch to occur one-on-one.

How that affects these results is difficult to predict.
