NEW YORK (CNN) -- Retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark got nearly a free pass from his nine Democratic rivals Thursday afternoon as he debuted at his first presidential campaign debate with a bashing of President Bush. Continues.

At the Democrat debate Thursday, all out civil-war broke out on the stage, shattering what remained of a fragile cease-fire. Fierce fighting raged throughout the 2-hour face-off at New York's Pace University, one mile from evil Wall Street. It was the third officially sanctioned debate among the '04 combatants. The hostilities were especially intense between Dean, Kerry, and Gephardt, the party's embattled Sunni Triangle. Clark, the powerful frontrunner who's vaulted to a formidable 2-point lead in the latest Newsweek poll, garnering a colossal 14 percent since his announcement a week ago, was spared the most heated exchanges, although he faced tough, probing softballs from a panel of reporters.

I really do hope you are doing something with your outstanding satirical wit and writing skills than just writing for FR.

Much as we enjoy it (and we certainly do), your analysis and wit is needed in liberal-land.

The '04 wannabes also took swipes directly at the President, blasting the White House for lacking a post-war plan for Iraq. They also blasted the White House for having a post-war plan for Iraq that costs too much.

LOL, love it, along with several of your other gems. Thanks.

The '04 wannabes also took swipes directly at the President, blasting the White House for lacking a post-war plan for Iraq. They also blasted the White House for having a post-war plan for Iraq that costs too much. Many Democrats grumbling of the cost of occupying Iraq demand that more U.S. troops be sent to Iraq, complaining that Rummy was trying to occupy Iraq on the cheap. The candidates also blasted Bush for not engaging our powerful ally France, also a powerful ally of Saddam. Bush has been sharply criticized for rushing to war instead of doing the sensible thing and waiting for the French to grow a pair.

Very good!

Maybe the answers to both questions are tucked away somewhere in Hillary's still missing Rose law firm billing records.

LOL.

So much good stuff I don't know where to begin. Great as always. Thanks. ;)

Dean said that, rather than attack each other, Democrats "need to remember that the enemy here is George Bush, not each other."

If Dean, in fact, said that it shows how far outside reality he is. Howie, baby... your enemy right now is the other eight dwarves and the newly announced midget. IF, mighty BIG if, you can get past them and somehow continue to breath after The Hildebeaste announces, then, and only then, will your "enemy" (your choice of words, not mine) be President Bush.

It's always been a mystery how JohnHuang's two cents can buy so much more wit and wisdom than a year's subscription to most any publication. I don't know how he keeps doing it, but he does.

Bump!
