This is REAL good news except for the next two candidates on the survey!
To: RogerWilko
Actually, this poll shows that the race is tightening up as stated by other pollsters. Compare to SurveyUSA's most recent 10-1 poll....

Everything else remaining equal, if this poll is correct then Arnold would get more votes than no on the recall would receive. In other words Arnold would out poll Gray. This would be great news. However I suspect a lot of the no on recall voters will not vote for a recall candidate.

Look at that Bustamante number. What did I tell you guys? This is going to be a lot closer than some were saying last week. Don't count on the Schwarzenegger number being that high either.
To: RogerWilko
Good news on Davis.
bad news on Schwarzenegger.

My prediction is that tomorrow at 10am, Dan Rather will break in with a special report:
"This just in from California, with .005% of the precincts reporting, it looks like Cruz Bustamante has this election wrapped up."

On the radio this morning, I heard Davis say that he hasn't even thought about the possibility of losing and that he and his aides have not even discussed it. I cracked up when I heard this seeing as he's already made arrangements for paper shredders. Yep! That's the first thing a Governor does if he's confident he'll be remaining in office. What a bozo!
