Great Idea !!

We need to assemble a crowd of Freepers and Californians to picket the Capitol and the Governor's Mansion. Can your picture 20,000 people chanting "Get Out of Arnold House!" ??

It will have a huge media impact all over the world !

It would definately be a bigger deal if the election is close. Hopefully that won't happen. 57% YES is a good start!

After Arnold completes an audit of the Davis administration, Californians discover the truth about what Sacramento's sausage factory has been creating...

Soiling Gray

"My God...it's...gray ¢rä¶!"

Here is some FNC exit polling data. Looks like a blowout for Arnold, at least if this data is any indication.

Just to let all of you know.

You can get the OFFICIAL results by going here:

http://vote2003.ss.ca.gov/

You can click an issue, or they have a Java Applet that will scroll results. Keep in mind that we are on the west coast so our polls close at 8pm which is 11 est.

I voted in Temecula, Riverside County, Touch screen voting went very easy. About 30 seconds.

ABout 10 ppl in line before me. Also saw 4 people who weren't on the rolls vote provisional. Predominant Republican Area.

I moved here in June from Illinois, and was worried, but They found me right away.

ANother thing I hate. They never bother to ask anyone for any Identification whatsoever. I gave my name, signed the sheet, listed my address, and that was it. They gave me my card and I went to Vote.

Most I talked to were voting for Arnold, and yes on the recall.

Regards,
Joe

Silly Tombots, had they thrown their support behind Arnold, they could claim a stake in the new administration. Now, they get nothing...

When I was voting, I couldn't help but notice that the punch card apparatus in the booth that I used literally had the AS hole overflowing with busted off chads.

I'm happy to see Gray leave, but I'm afraid Ah-nold could be a disaster for the GOP. I remember the good ol' days around here when RINOs were scorned and ridiculed. I would rather a demo stay in there and further drive the stake into the demo party's heart and get a REAL republican elected next time. I voted my conscience today for the REAL GOP candidate and will sleep well tonight.

I think Drudge was very anti-Arnold on his radio show as well.
Did he get his panties in a wad over the Davis story, or did he ever feature it on either the Report or radio show?

Keep in mind that this is definitely a unique political event. A compressed campaign schedule, few debates, and an overwhelming outrage by California residents toward the wreckage that Davis delivered to them.

Now that I have tossed something of a wet paper towel on the upcoming celebration,

Woo Hoo!

I don't like to gloat or anything ;) , but i was just reading a few responses to this information over at the DU... and this is one of the replies I saw...

I am overwhelmed with the feeling we are all lambs being led to slaughter. I have felt this election will mirror the 2004 presidential election. If these people can't see through the media spin and realize Bush's economy has helped crush California's economy and punish Gray Davis, in an undemocratic recall, rather than use common sense and vote no, I for one am ready to give up on politics. I need a long timeout - I'm beginning to think we over at DU, BuzzFlash, etc. are the minority in this country. We take the time to read and learn, we take the time to write or call our representatives, we care but we are too few to make a difference. The right wing stronghold on our country is too powerful and I am so depressed right now I could cry.

Very interesting at how they see the world. Peace.

No. He's already been up late signing bills. Remember Clinton? He was signing ( and pardoning) way into the night, and I believe even the morning before George Bush was sworn in... :(
