PROPHETIC SIGNS THAT WE ARE IN THE END TIMES [A good summary of SOME key evidences--QX]

The Bible gives many examples of signs that should warn us of the coming end of the age. Six such signs are given by Jesus, two characteristics are given by Paul, and eleven other occurrences are given by the prophets to occur prior to or soon after the end of the age. While we are also told we will not know the time of the End, God obviously wanted us to know when that time was getting closer. As the Christian church is increasingly drawn into the interfaith movement, and as more and more churches go into isolation, preparing to sleep through the growing attacks on their faith, perhaps God knew it would take a few signs to wake us up and remind us that we have work to do.

Unfortunately, many Christians take the verses that tell us we won't know the time of His coming to mean they should ignore any and all scripture that might warn us of this time of tribulation. Others have fallen into the trap of fearing being labeled a "conspiracy theorist" should they display an interest in the Biblical prophecies about our future on Earth. My philosophy is simple. God included it in the Bible and, since God is all knowing, we should trust that it is something we should know and study along with the rest of His Word.

It is increasingly obvious that the time of our Lord's coming is drawing near. Prophecy is being fulfilled daily, and at a faster pace than ever before. Whether you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, or believe Christians will be witness to the full tribulation, wrath, and final judgments, matters not. The beginning of birth pains and the signs of the times should have the same effect on all of us. It should motivate us to save as many souls as we can in the time that we have left. The Great Commission tells us to be disciples to all nations, bringing the message of salvation through Christ to all people. If the Church is raptured before the tribulation, it is important that we leave behind an explanation for the trials and judgments those left behind will face. How else will they recognize the deception of the anti-Christ and seek instead the truth of the Bible? If we are to endure the tribulation along side them, we will need to be prepared to not only share the message of salvation, but share with them the reasons for God's judgment and hold it up as further proof of their need to be saved.

Below is a study of the prophetic signs God gave us as a warning of the approaching end of the age. Many of them are being fulfilled now and many will be fulfilled in the near future. I would encourage you to study prophecy, know what is coming and be prepared to share it with others.

In Matthew24:3 Jesus was asked, "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" Jesus told his apostles to look for the following signs prior to his second coming and the end of the age.

Matthew 24:5 "For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and will mislead many."

In the last several years many have claimed to be the Messiah. Jim Jones and David Koresh are examples of these false christs as well as countless others who are not as newsworthy. These false prophets are a prelude to the ultimate false christ, the antichrist. Many New Age groups, some even NGO's working for the United Nations, are anxiously awaiting the antichrist, preparing the way for his acceptance as the head of the hierarchy of gods and the one who will usher in world peace.

Matthew 24:6 "And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end."

Rumors of wars in all areas of the world now occur frequently thanks to instant media coverage and the availability of a multitude of 24-hour news sources.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."

More people have been killed in warfare in this century than at any other time in history. As the death toll rises in the Middle East, more and more countries work feverishly to develop devastating weapons of mass destruction. Add to that the expanding threat of terrorism and unpredictable dictators such as Saddam Hussein, and the potential for the outbreak of war exists in nations, kingdoms and places across the globe.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."

As white, Christian farmers are driven out of Africa in increasing numbers, and foreigners move in to replace life-sustaining crops with poppies that now supply 25% of the worlds drugs, famine spreads across the African continent. The undernourished are not limited to Africa, however. A large portion of the worlds 5 billion people suffers from a shortage of food.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."

The number and intensity of earthquakes this century is at a level higher than any other time in history. A staggering number of seismic events occur around the world daily. The earthquake seismic monitor IRIS shows all major earthquakes for the last year. Indicated by yellow and red circles, the seismic events of the last 15 days provides strong evidence of the fulfillment of Matthew 24:7 in our day. By contrast, in the years from 1890 to 1900 there was only one major earthquake in the world.

Matthew 24:8-9 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my name."

Christians are under attack throughout the world today. In the United States Christians still enjoy freedom to worship God without suffering much more than ridicule, hatred, or discrimination at work and school. However in many other countries such as China, Sudan, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Russia, and many Muslim nations, Christian suffer much greater persecution and often times death for their faith. During the tribulation this suffering will be worldwide and will continue even to the point of martyrdom. These first 5 signs will increase in intensity and severity as the tribulation approaches, much like the birth pangs or contractions of a pregnant woman worsen as the delivery time approaches.

Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come."

This prophecy has already been fulfilled through television, radio, missionaries, the translation of the Bible into many languages, and the internet. People all over the world now hear the message of Christ from missionaries who have the means to travel the globe, and via technology that allows us to communicate with people on the other side of the world right from our own homes, churches and offices.

II Timothy 3:1-5,7 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

For anyone who has watched television, read a newspaper, lost a retirement to corporate greed and corruption, or just walked outside their front door, it is obvious this prophecy has been fulfilled by our generation. Our leaders are often corrupt; our cities are filled with crime, brutality, and neon signs proclaiming our sinful, godless nature. The New Age Movement brings in increasing numbers of mystics who claim to be the enlightened ones. They are some of the most educated and influential people in our societies, and yet the most lacking in real truth.

I Timothy 4:1-3 "But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. By means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth."

Churches today are becoming more and more ecumenical, embracing the New Age interfaith agenda, and denying Christ as the only way to salvation. Giving in to the politically correct media and a corrupt society, they have embrace homosexuality as an acceptable alternate lifestyle and preach tolerance and compromise in place of God's truth for the salvation of the world. The environmentalist movement within the New Age movement lures them into a worship of mother earth, belief in past lives, reincarnation, and Karma while demonizing all those who would eat the meat God gave us as nourishment for our bodies.

Revelation 9:16 "And the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them."

An army of that size had never existed until China's army reached that number in the 1960's.

Daniel 2:32-33 "The head of the statue was made of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay."

Daniel 2:40-43 "Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; inasmuch as iron crushes and shatters all things, so like iron that breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all these in pieces. And in that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have the toughness of iron, and partly of pottery, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle. And in that you saw the iron mixed with clay, they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, even as iron does not combine with pottery."

The fourth kingdom of iron is the Roman empire according to Daniel's interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream. The two legs are the division of the Roman empire into an eastern portion called the Byzantine empire which ended in the 1400's and a western portion based in Rome which ended in the 400's. The nations of Europe since the Roman empire dissolved have never adhered or formed one empire but continue as separate nations, however, the European Union now has 15 Member States and is preparing for the accession of 13 eastern and southern European countries.

Zephaniah 3:9 "For then I will return to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent."

Prior to the restoration of Israel in 1948, Hebrew was a dead language. Now Hebrew is spoken throughout Israel.

4. REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE, RESTORATION OF TEMPLE WORSHIP AND ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN JERUSALEM

For several end time prophecies to be fulfilled, the temple will have to be rebuilt.

Revelation 11:2 "Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the oly city for forty-two months."

Daniel 9:27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolation, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

Daniel 9:26 "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary."

Some archeologists believe that the temple mount is actually 340 feet south of the Dome of the Rock site, putting the Dome of the Rock within the Court of the Gentiles. This may be the court outside the temple that is left out.

There are many groups already working on preparations for the new temple. The blueprints are already done, the temple garments have been made, and there have already been attempts to lay the cornerstone of the temple. The only thing standing in the way of the construction of the new temple is Islam's third holiest site, the Dome of the Rock and government support for such an undertaking. Some possible scenarios for the rebuilding of the temple are as follows:

1. The persuasion and performing of miracles by the Antichrist and False Prophet convinces the Islamic world to approve the rebuilding.

2. The United Nations will negotiate the rebuilding of the temple following a war with the armies from the North (Russia and Islamic forces). This assumes that the war with the armies from the North is not the battle of Armageddon as some feel and that this attack occurs before the rapture or tribulation period begins. The supernatural destruction of the Russian army and Islamic forces will cause an outpouring of Christian worship and zeal amongst the Jewish people who will reconstruct the temple.

3. It is determined that the site of the first two temples is actually south of the Dome of the Rock, and the court of the gentiles (Dome of the Rock) will be left out of the 3rd temple.

A group in Israel called the Temple Mount Faithful have obtained most of the clothing, instruments and other equipment required for temple worship and are actively preparing for the laying of the third temple's cornerstone.

Numbers 19:2-7 "This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed. "You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be brought outside the camp and be slaughtered in his presence. Next Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and sprinkle some of its blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times. "Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight; its hide and its flesh and its blood, with its refuse, shall be burned. "The priest shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest shall be unclean until evening."

A red heifer will be required to be used in the process of purification described in the book of Numbers. In May 1997 the first Red Heifer was born in 2000 years. Another red Heifer was born in Israel in March of 2002.

Daniel 12:4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."

Billy Graham was quoted as saying, "ninety percent of all the engineers and scientists who have ever lived are alive today." Air travel, space travel, DNA research and human cloning are all examples of the rapid increase in knowledge in our generation.

Zephaniah 3:10-11 "From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My dispersed ones, will bring My offerings. In that day you will feel no shame because of all your deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst your proud, exulting ones, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain."

In 1984, Operation Moses saw the airlift of 15,000 Jews who had already fled to refugee camps in Sudan to escape starvation. In 1991, Operation Solomon flew 20,000 Jews to Israel from Ethiopia itself. A further airlift began in June of 1999, aimed at transporting the last 3,000 members of the Quara Jewish community from northeastern Ethiopia to Israel.

Ezekiel 38:2,4,8 "Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him. I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords. After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them."

In order for some end time events to occur Russia will have to be a strong nation with a strong military.

Jeremiah 23:7-8 "Therefore behold, the days are coming declares the Lord, when they will no longer say, as the Lord lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, but as the Lord lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I have driven them. Then they will live on their own soil."

In the 1970's and 1980's there was a mass exodus of Russian Jews out of Communist Russia. In 1999 the Associated Press reported a dramatic increase in the number of Jewish immigrants from Russia, bringing the largest number of Russian Jews to Israel since the early 1990's.

Revelation 13:16-17 "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."

On May 10, three members of a family in Florida became the first people to receive the biochip implant. Each device, made of silicon and called a VeriChip, is a small radio transmitter about the size of a piece of rice that is injected under a person's skin. It transmits a unique personal ID number whenever it is within a few feet of a special receiver unit. VeriChip's maker describes it as "a miniaturized, implantable, radio frequency identification device (RFID) that can be used in a variety of security, emergency and healthcare applications."

Is the biochip the mark of the beast to be used by the antichrist? We can't really know. What is significant is that people are being softened to the idea of a mark or an implant as a means of maintaining security, providing medical information, and regulating a more interdependent world. As attitudes change, fears subside, and people are convinced of the need for such a mark, the true mark of the beast will be easily introduced to the world by the antichrist.

The United Nations, World Trade Organization, International Criminal Court, UN peacekeeping/police force, numerous UN NGO's, and other agencies are preliminary steps to the formation of a one world government. We now have the communications technology, transportation, and the pro-globalization media necessary to usher in the one world government headed by the antichrist. The increasing terrorist threat and the middle east conflict will only speed up the formation of this governing body as fear and promises of better security make more people willing to give up their national sovereignty for global governance.

Revelation 11:3, 7-10 "And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophecy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth."

Television and the 24-hour news networks make it possible for people around the world to see the dead prophets and rejoice at their deaths.

Luke 21:28 "But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

Luke 21:32 "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place."

I Have Much To Teach My People

(This prophetic word that is a "teaching word." There are issues and questions that we all have concerning the prophetic and the many words that we are hearing and reading about in this hour. We have questions about prophets. We have questions about when the Lord will return for His church. Through this word below, I believe that God is wanting to answer some of these questions of ours. We perhaps have set ideas and concepts that we have carried with us for quite awhile concerning some of these things. May we be open to hear what the Spirit is wanting to tell us and teach us in this hour. May we go onto maturity and onto solid food rather than continuing to be satisfied with just milk. )

"Now, brothers about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, 'Peace and safety.' destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape." 1 Thess. 5:1-3

"We have much to say about this, but is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil." Heb. 5:1-14

MT 24:32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. [33] Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. [34] I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. [35] Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come." 2 Thess. 2:12

“What if anything, can be done to avert the events that are to come upon this earth? Can anything be done to change the prophetic time table? Is prophecy conditional or is it written down so that nothing can keep it from happening as it was predicted? I tell you that my word is infallible and nothing can keep it from happening as it has been predicted. But those that speak for Me are not infallible. The word that they speak, while coming from Me, can be averted. This means that through the prayers of the saints events are conditional. This means that circumstances are conditional upon the heart conditions of people. A message may have many ways of being understood. There is more than one level to a prophetic word. Look to my word and the message that was given to the seven churches. The apostle John was given a message to the seven churches that were present at that time in history. But these churches also represent spiritual conditions. On an even deeper level, these seven churches also speak to individuals. Are you lukewarm as a believer or is there an open door waiting for you in your life? There have been many abuses of the prophetic word that has been given to individuals. But I tell you, there have also been many abuses from those who have not received the prophetic words that have been given. You are not to be as children any more. You are to grow up unto the head which is my Son, Christ Jesus. Let there not be many disputes among you. While it is good to test the words that are given, it is not good to analyze things to death. It is good to test the message, but it is not good to harangue the individual. Be as mature men and women and not as babes in your understanding. Broaden your views of prophecy. Develop an intimate relationship with Me and my word, and then you will be better able to judge these things. I have said that there are dark things coming upon the earth. These things are written down in my word. I have said when they say, 'Peace, peace, then sudden destruction will come upon them. ' I tell you to be aware when people say these things. The purpose of many of the warnings that I have sent out is not to instill fear in my people, but to prepare them and to warn them for what is to come. These are the last days that are mentioned in my word. Do not try to figure out the days or the months, or even the year that I am to come back. I have said that of that season you will have no need for anyone to tell you about it, for it will be plain to your eyes. I have also said that when the fig tree's leaves become tender then you know that the time is near. I tell you that this generation began with the birth of Israel as a nation in 1967. A generation lasts for forty years. I have also said that one year is as a thousand years with Me. So, having said this, you know that the time is very near. Do not try and figure out the exact times and dates, but be ready; for you know not what time your bridegroom will return. Listen to my apostles and prophets. Compare what they have to say with what is in my word. Do not become stirred-up by certain prophecies, but weigh them and seek a balanced approach. There is much that my church still has to learn. I will continue to warn and to teach my people, but you must be as mature men and women and not babes. "

A Vision In The Office

It was 2:30 AM and I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go downstairs to my office and see if I could write an article on some things that had been on my mind. My mind however just drew a blank, so I decided to lie for a while on the couch in the office. It was then that I begin to hear from the voice I know so well. But before sharing it with you I should warn you that most of it might sound like an over active imagination of one who stays on top of current events around the world. In fact, God and I have had a serious conversation over if I should say this was a vision. But God has clearly instructed me to tell others what I have seen, so here it is, you are the judge.

God spoke to me and said I have found your heart and efforts pleasing but you still have much to learn and I will teach you many things about my Church. The time is very near when panic and chaos will grip the hearts of men and many will die from the fear of what they are seeing. The things you are about to see are for you to tell those who will listen.

It was a Mall, where I am not sure but there were dead and wounded bodies scattered over a large area and as soon as I saw this I was in a different place looking down on a large gathering of a sporting event. Many were already dead and others were gasping for their breath and dying even as I looked at them. One man spoke to me, saying they have already destroyed our economy by cutting off the oil, now they want to kill all of us.

I thought I'd keep seeing this type of disaster but to my surprise I found myself in a Church, judging from the interior and the looks and sounds I thought it must be a Baptist Church. As I sit there in the presence of God unable to speak I heard the Pastor give a short glib standard salvation message, and I watched the people who were frightened and unable to understand why all this was happening to them.

Many were destitute without food and no way to purchase any. One man interrupted the Pastor and said why haven't you prepared us, why haven't you warned us? The Pastor begins to cry and the people got up and left him standing behind the pulpit. It was then I noticed an amazing thing, the Pastor fell to the floor and he was dead.

Then we were in a city center and I watched as people were looting and screaming obscenities at each other. Some were shooting and arm robbing the ones that had just stolen the goods from the store just moments before. I looked at the Bank and it was closed and people were trying to get in but the doors were locked.

There were military troops on the streets of the larger cities and they were shooting people with impunity, no one could believe what was happening. As they ran almost aimlessly in pure panic, we followed one man to his home. He greeted his wife and two small children with, I didn't do any good, and I don't know what we are going to do now.

He sits and turned on the TV and the news about Israel was on. Israel was under heavy attack and they had already destroyed Damascus. It was believed that many missiles were on the way from Iran. Egypt had launched a full-scale attack and it was feared that Syria had launched missiles with chemical and biological warheads.

I turned to God and said you promised that Israel will not be destroyed again, but He reminded me that it wasn’t the end of the story and to wait and see His Word come to pass. Looking back at the TV it showed how suicide bombers had killed many all over the country and everyone was frightened to the point of not knowing where to turn for help.

It was then God showed me Believers who had bonded together and had a Pastor who had prepared them, their love for each other was obvious and many were coming to them for help. But even more important many were being drawn to them as their love was a witness for Yeshua.

I ask God why more Pastors hasn't prepared the Believers, and He told me that they have been desensitized by Y2K and felt they couldn't tell them to prepare again.

But those Pastors who knew to prepare their congregations and did not will wish they had never knew Me; I will tell them I never knew them. It was then God said to me, "only those who truly know Me would overcome and witness My great salvation, for all Temporal things will perish but those born of the Spirit will see Eternal Life." I then ask God what would He have me to do? God told me then, that I was to continue on the task set before me and not to look back, that many would be saved.

A Visitation Is Nearing

This morning, before dawn it was so weird around here. I have been dreaming stuff and the Lord started to explain what I had just dream even within the dream. The presence of the Lord was strong and peaceful. Then when I awoke as I opened my eyes I could see the from my bedroom door opened, that the dinning room was full of tiny little white lights, and I mean thousands of them all over on the wall that I could see from where I was. They looked like the tiny Christmas tree lights but there was also like a wood structure of some sort with narrow wood planks crossing here and there. I did not have the full view since I was still on my bed. The lights dimmed and the vision disappeared and I said to the Lord "Now that was so nice I wish I just could have seen more of it " and Presto! It all lighted up again and I was looking at it. It stayed on for a while but I had no desire to get up and walk into the dinning room.

For some reason I was peaceful and content to see as I was shown and no had no curiosity to pursue the matter any further, so I just looked into the corner that I was being shown and listened as He spoke . The wood structure was of a deep dark color similar to black. It was covered in some places under the lights that could not be seen, as when one plants a vine or any other creeping plant and places this sort of things for it to grow and crawl on it. Some parts you see it some parts you don’t.

I continued praying then I heard a phone ring as if it would have been in my bedroom but the ring was not of my phone. It was exactly at 5:59 because the Lord told me to look at the clock. 5 through grace, 50 a deliverance and 9 in the fullness of the Spirit, in all fruitfulness of His gift, as He is a gift to us purchased through blood to allow us to receive Him, He is the very womb of God from which His Sons shall emerge volunteering in the day of His power.

This is as far I can receive from this now, I felt sadness and peace. His love was the foundation of all of it. I feel that a visitation is nearing to us. A visitation of His glory. As the Lord showed His glory to the children of Israel at the inauguration of the Aharonic priesthood (*Lev 9:23), so it will be when the sons of God near their day for they are priests to Him.

In one of the dreams I was visiting a believer, and she shied from me fearing that I was bringing a hard word. Later on she came near and asked me what it was all about, I kept quiet. Then she continued to speak confessing that fear had kept her from nearing to hear. There was much sadness in my heart because I had been sent with a word of hope and blessing and encouragement, but she was not able to receive it because of fear. When she confessed that to me, the time to give the word was gone. I only answered, Now you would not know. If only you would have known, but its OK, I guess that is the way we tend to react."

It was not about qualifying or not, she was not disqualified, just an opportunity that was very much missed. It was about a love that in blindness finds itself still captive of fear living its punishment. But that is not love since from its root it lacks the sure foundation, for we love not in or from ourselves, but because He first loved us. If our hearts receive His love as He gives it to us, then we will find love with which to love Him back and love each other and no fear will be able to hinder the resolve of His love in us.

The Lord longs to Emmanuel and live with and among us. That is what He is still seeking but few open their dwelling place unto Him. When He declares in His word that He does not change He is Truthful. He has not changed at all. He longed to dwell among Israel. They could have been known as the people among whom God dwelt but fear kept them and they asked Moses to listen to God and stand before God for them.

Now He comes and seeks exactly the same. Who will answer? Who will say here I am and listen? [It] is not about what to do but about standing still and seeing His deliverance, of us first from our own delusions and fleshly mindsets. It is about what He can do with the obedience and trust of man when He dwells in their midst. Yeshua came and lived among us doing many things even though very few trusted then, but when the Son of Man comes back will He find faith? Have we learned the lesson better than those before us? Will the heart of His Bride find its perfection?

Like the little girl that ceases from childhood and finds her first impressions of love is enamored of it, but she must one day leave that stage and find how true love is and even what true love is. For the love of God consist not in that we have loved Him but that He loved us first and that was manifested in action giving His very life, His only begotten and what should love be in and among us, if it doesn't translate in that laying of our lives for one another unto Him then we do not have Him at all. A time of silence is to come to awaken love in which love will be revealed in its true nature as with fire, because glory is found manifest through the ashes (of things revealed) since His glory He does not share with flesh.

11-27-04 -Prophetic Experience/Vision

Earthquake Vision:

Just after midnight, I had a very profound and unsettling experience. I will attempt to write it out so that everyone can clearly understand it.

I am lying in bed, and am dreaming. The power of God begins to hit me very strongly and the lightning begins to crack through me. I am jerking strongly and my husband attempts to sleep through this….sorry honey……smile….. this was a very strong and real experience, and I was crying out in the experience, my husband said I moaned through it….. there is truly great changes coming to us.

There was so much happening at once in the experience, but I will break it down into each thing, so that each will be clear, but not all occurred separately, but most was all at one time or so close together that it was hard to tell what occurred first or next.

I enter the vision:

I am standing and underneath my feet, the ground below, begins to sink. It is a sudden violent sinking feeling, like the bottom of the earth is falling or caving in. Everything under your feet sinks while a bright light suddenly flashes all around and a “click” sound in the spirit. This “click” is a dull click sound like a light switch was turned on, and it signaled something, while the flash occurred and exploded in a great light all around us.

Then, this great roar began to slowly grow and increase as the falling ground gave way to a shaking from up and down, to side to side, at the same time. It seemed like the earth is coming apart. The earth violently quakes and breaks up all around. The side to side motion, the up and down, and now forwards and backwards motion.

The land breaks open as it is sinking underneath and quaking in all directions. The middle of the USA breaks open, and splits down the middle, as I stand there, the land masses move. I understand in the vision, that I am not harmed as I watch this, and God’s people will not be harmed either, but multitudes will perish in this sudden, great, explosive quake.

There was no warning. Just the sinking ground, the light, the “click”, and the then explosion into a huge quake. The USA is split apart, and the dividing and the exposing the heartland of the land, the heart of America. The land masses and the topography are altered. There is a great silence afterwards. All is quiet.

I did not know where I was standing in the middle of the US, as this experience happened, nor was I told when it would occur, only that it would, and that the heart was being torn open and exposed, and divided.

There was about a 45 minute time period in this experience.

Some scriptures I looked up afterwards were:

Note:

This experience is in no way declaring a definite, irreversible event, or releasing it as such, as the Lord has only told me to share it as it occurred and as He showed me. We all need to seek the Lord for our part in this, and for His Wisdom and Will for the days ahead.

I pray that we can avoid this great loss of life and catastrophic event, but I also pray to embrace His Will, and for His Purposes to be established in the earth. May all men seek Him, and draw near while our time of grace is given to us.

[QUIX: This fits for me. It's interesting that they were accurate about Arafart being in the hospital 2-3 years beforehand. I have felt the oil thing was coming in Israel but didn't know what the hold-up in God's timing was. Now, it seems clear that at the right time, it will generate the mass exodus of Jews from the USA to fight for Israel. That fits. I think the Baltimore thing will be another timing benchmark for us to know that this is going to come to pass.

This word just came in thanks to a fellow Christian keeping us abreast to it, and I am sending it out asap! Here is a prophetic word that it appears to me is vital--I have noticed if I put urgent on the front of the subject it tends to hold the e-mail up for going forth so until I can get my new e-mail service I must apparently play the game of whatever with this e-mail I am using now/Juno... because right now Arafat is in the Hospital! And there can be a chain of events to soon follow if this is a correct word from God and it appears to be.

Also, I ponder if Baltimore means that an attack could hit our Baltimore where a lot of Jews are and cause them, almost force them to consider moving to Israel? We knew these things were coming... Is this it? Is this one of the places where the terrorists will try to attack? We do know New York is an area to be hit by Terrorists it appears...

Either way the below dream within a dream I think is vital to what is happening right now! Read it carefully and pray and think!

Arafat in Hospital Dream 04/15, 2002

I dreamt I saw Mary Gene Stephens at a meeting. Mary Gene is Hayseed Stephens wife [Hayseed Stephens went home to be with the Lord Jesus a couple of years ago, but his seed is running the company now, his son!].

Hayseed is the man God told that the largest oilfield in the world is located at the Southwest end of the Dead Sea. Mary Gene was not scheduled to speak and minister but we had ministered together at the Perfect Touch Women's Conference and I asked her to minister with me. We ministered to many people. While we were ministering, Mary Gene got a call from Hayseed. He said, "Mary Gene you need to get home. War is about to break out here in Israel."

She came over to me and told me what Hayseed said and then left to go home.

That night after the meeting, I saw myself sleeping. I had a dream within a dream.

I saw a news report on television that announced that Israel had given the Palestinians a State.

I heard the Lord say, "You must tell everyone that oil is going to come forth soon. It will cause the Jewish people to fight back for their land."

Then I heard the Lord say, "Let Baltimore know."

I knew this could very easily start a global war. I keep asking the Lord, 'Why Baltimore?' When I awoke from the second dream.

In my first dream, I began to tell Stan what the Lord had said. Stan said, "Leslie, there are people we must tell."

We met a man that was in a high position having both power and knowledge concerning what was truly going on in Israel.

As I began to tell this man my dream, I said, "For some reason we are to tell Baltimore." I asked him, "Why Baltimore"

He said, "Because there are a lot of Jewish people who live in Baltimore."

I said to him, "Stan and I will be in Baltimore in a couple of months to do a Crusade."

There were about eight of us that were discussing my dream. We needed to find a place to talk. The man told us to follow him. Everyone was eager to find out more about this dream. We all walked through what looked like an airport waiting area. As I walked through, I noticed a lot of Jewish people. I could tell by the way they were talking and visiting. As I passed by one woman, I noticed she was reading a small newspaper like the Jerusalem Post. I was drawn to what she was saying. I heard her say with an accent, "Arafat is in the hospital."

She did not say why. However, she was happy to hear he was in the hospital.

We made our way through the crowd into a small room used for an office. Inside this small room was a woman already sitting in there. She was an older woman and would not get up to let us meet privately. However, as we began to talk and visit she would say, "Huh, Huh"

We just decided that she couldn't hear very well so we just let her sit there and went on with our meeting.

We shut the small sliding door behind us. The man that we followed into the room said, "Don't worry about the people outside the waiting room. Even if they can hear us they will not understand and think what we are saying is foolishness anyway. We have so much more information than they do and a deeper understanding of what is really going on, that they will not pay us any attention."

Once inside, this man with high connections in Israel said, "All right Leslie, tell me your dream."

I told him that Israel will give the Palestinians a State, but it will be a temporary arrangement to give the Jews enough time to regroup and get their armed forces prepared. I told him Oil will come forth quickly. The discovery of large amounts of oil will make all the Jewish people willing to fight for their land. It will lead to a major war, almost like the whole world will get involved in this war. I will include many countries.

I awoke and told Stan the dream. I believe the Lord has given me some revelation about it.

The scary thing for me is that in a way the Lord has put a time on this dream. I believe one of the ways to know when this will happen is the key word, Baltimore. We go to Baltimore for a Crusade in 06/21-25, 2002.

However, in my dream I remember thinking it was the first part of 2003 and Baltimore was in a couple of months like the 2nd or 3rd month. I am not sure of the timing other than I know we go to Baltimore in the sixth month. I am not sure it was talking about us going to Baltimore in 06/of 2002 or some other future event.

Another event that could signal it is near will be if Arafat goes into the hospital and especially if the Jews give the Palestinians a State.

The older woman in the room who had a hearing problem, represents the church. There will be many, including Christians who will be thrilled with the Israeli's giving the Arabs, the Moslems a declared State. They will think, 'Yea! Finally peace!'

The people in the outside waiting room area who didn't care or understand the significance of what we were saying represents the world. People of the world do not want to hear the warning. They don't want to hear the truth. They just want to have fun. Peace will only be a smoke screen and only for a short time.

Oil will spring forth and cause the Jews from around the world to return and fight for their land.

In that Hayseed and Mary Gene Stephens were both in the dream means that Hayseed is about to discover a massive oil field in Israel.

Also, the more we pray and seek the Lord, I believe He will give us more revelation.

Resume the responsibility of a watchman. Watch and pray and then ask of Me the petitions that you desire of Me. For when you ask, you are letting Me know that you care about the situations that you are facing concerning the brethren. A good watchman not only cares about himself, but he cares about all that concerns the body of Christ. In these latter times I will be raising up many who will be acting the part of a watchman, but really they are taking on the call of an intercessor who is seasoned for war on behalf of those who I gave My life for.

Reach out and ask of Me the details of the intercession you are to take in pulling down the strongholds that are effecting My people. So many don't know how to war for themselves and need those who will stand in the gap and roar on their behalf. Yes, when you roar, you are letting out mighty power of My love that repels the powers of darkness so that many can receive My love. So many are so bound with deception that they don't even know that they are bound in chains and fetters. And I need those who will stand up and say to the enemy that this is as far as you go. I command you to let God's people go.

Reach out to Me and pray and I will give you the details that you are to follow. You aren't on your own in this battle for I AM your Captain in chief, and I AM leading you on in the fight for freedom, not only for your own life but for those of the multitudes who I will raise up as mighty warriors of worship. Yes, I have an army who is now in chains who will be loosed and turn on the enemy, because they know how it is to be bound, and they will be full of compassion, and will not stop warring until they know in their hearts that they have conquered the land.

So, I want you to rejoice and know that your travail is not in vain those who have been giving birth to My will. I know it has been long and heavy, and the transition period you felt totally out of control, but you have held on to your faith in My word and promises and have not let go of them. I want you to rejoice, and know that you are at the edge of a mighty breakthrough. Don't give up hope.

Don't look at circumstances stating that things are growing worse and that you have lost the fight. Don't believe the lies. Stand behind your shield of faith and wave your sword against the enemy, and use your lance of intercession on behalf of your brethren. Believe the nations are your inheritance because they are sealed with My blood. Escape the clutch of the evil one and run the race freely. Let out a mighty shout of victory for you will prevail, says your God.

I want you to know, beloved, that there is smooth sailing ahead for one who identifies with My cause – smooth sailing.

Let Me tell you about My plans. Let Me open the eyes of your understanding to some wonderful truths: I, the living God, have made a way for you to walk in a rich discovery of My truth, and what I have planned for you. I want you to know that the hour is upon you when you will see My glory firsthand, walk in it in power and strength, and be living testimonies of the wonders of the living God, as He explodes into your presence and brings new understanding to your heart. I am equipping you to move forward with ease. I am equipping you to see My glory from a front-row seat and participate in all that I have planned. Yes! Audience participation is mandatory. Audience participation will enable Me to show clearly that your Lord God Almighty is ALIVE in this day, and is presenting His heart to all who will receive.

I am telling you, beloved, that smooth sailing is ahead, because I have made it possible. I am telling you that I have spoken My truth in your hearing, and it will be performed mightily according to My will – according to My promises.

Changes are looming ahead for the world-seekers. Changes that will not bring pleasure to their hearts! But to those who trust in the Almighty God, changes will come that will delight. Let Me compound that statement by telling you this: Changes are coming the way of My children that will thrill you deep within your hearts, offer you a wonderful new day, and entitle you to walk in a new understanding of Who your God is and what He has planned for you in this hour.

So don’t be surprised when you see wonderful things occur, because I have told you thus. I have told you, and My words live on forever. Yes, beloved, wonderful things are in the offing for those who offer their serving hearts to Me, and they will live on forever. For I am a God Who does all things well, and in this present situation what I am doing will manifest the wonders of the coming hour, and they will last for all eternity. I am not giving you something that is here today and gone tomorrow, beloved – I am giving you an eternal gift, and it will live on forever in the hearts of those who have given their allegiance to Me, offering to Me all that they are, and all of their desires. I am the One Who will supply the wonderful essence of My presence to those who lay down their lives and follow the course of the Beloved.

It is smooth sailing ahead, beloved. Get your position fixed on Me, and know that onward you will march into the day of renown – the day when the Beloved collects His own to dwell with Him forever.

The hour is here! The time is NOW!!!

Savage wolves are on the attack, beloved. Get yourself braced. Get yourself braced for Me to overtake them on your behalf.

I am calling to My dear children, telling you that I will fight your battles. Keep your focus on Me. Speak My truth over your situations and see results that will pay off in full.

The enemy is on the rampage. He is snarling and biting any who get in his way. Stay focused on Me and see the Avenger avenge. For just as surely as I have spoken My truth over you, I am directing you to a safe haven in Me. Those who willingly accept My plans will know a freedom from the enemy and his snarling ways. They will walk in a place of freedom and delight.

That is what I have planned for those who keep their focus on Me, and speak My truth over their situations. The enemy would like to ravage your life, beloved, but you don’t have to put up with His antics. You are equipped to kick him in the teeth. Just give him a swift kick by speaking My words of truth and know vindication that comes with serving the Almighty God. Yes, true vindication comes in following after My heart and pronouncing that I am your very own. And I am, dear child of the living God. I am your very own and you are Mine – you are certainly Mine!!!

Why I Believe In Miracles

A few years ago a fellow minister approached me to give me some "advice" about my ministry, particularly about healing and praying for the sick. It was not the first one to do so, but while others had only given me a sort of veiled suggestion about the matter; this particular friend was very strong and precise in his views.

He told me: "Brother, you should not actually pray for the sick because you yourself have not been healed. You cannot possibly encourage the faith of the people you pray for if you yourself have not been healed of your hearing problem; you cannot even hear what they are saying because of your hearing problems, so how could you per chance tell them to have faith? If it was a disease that you could actually hide, it could be different, but your hearing impairment is so evident!"

I have to confess that I almost bought it. For some time I was chewing on those words and I could certainly see the logic of his whole point. I thought that he was actually right in his comments. How could I explain that I had been a musician, a minister of music, and a teacher of music and now I was not even able to catch the right tone? How could I tell a deaf person that God heals today when I myself have such a serious hearing impairment? Yes, I said to myself, I really have to stop putting so much emphasis in miracles and healings until I am myself healed. I will focus on just preaching the Word without focusing on healing and the supernatural.

Then one day my heart leaped as I realized what I was just saying. If I am going to preach "just the Word" how could I actually do away with the fact that the whole book is about the supernatural? I literally shouted "Get thee behind me satan, for you do not put your eyes in the things from above". I said then and I proclaim it today that I believe in miracles not because of my own experience but because it is written in the Bible. I have seen many, many miracles in our ministry, some of them astonishing; I have seen a tumor fell of the face of a woman; I have seen a paralyzed man running up a flight of stairs; I have seen a lady with half the body paralyzed for over 25 years restored completely; a couple months ago a woman who due to a mistake during an operation was left in constant pain for almost 25 years was healed and has been without pain ever since; I have seen deaf people healed when I myself am deaf; I myself was healed of asthma many years ago. Yes, I have seen many other miracles of divers kinds many of which led to the salvation of souls, but I say today that even if I had not seen any miracle at all in my own ministry and experience I will still preach healing, and I will still pray for the sick, and I will still pray for God to intervene miraculously in the lives of those who need a miracle, simply because it is written in the Bible.

Why then hasn't God open my ears? This is a question that I still ask Him every day. I have not as of yet have a complete answer but I could hint at some points. During a seminar on Healing that I was teaching a while ago someone asked me this question: "I have prayed for healing but it has not happen. Should I pray again? How long should I pray for my healing?"

This question actually was an answer to me! Immediately I heard the Holy Spirit telling, almost shouting in my mind: "Pray until it happens". That was the answer! The fact is not that I am not healed, the truth is that I am not healed yet! Many people tend to think or have been taught that if they have to pray twice or more for a miracle that shows that they have no faith to receive it, but the truth lies far from that assumption; in fact Jesus Himself prayed twice for a blind man. Unless God tells us specifically as He did to Paul that his thorn in the flesh as he called his problem was not taken from him but much grace was given to him instead, then we should keep praying for a miracle to happen.

Der Dorn für das Fleisch my Aunt would say. Paul's thorn in the flesh. She was a wise woman with that wisdom that only God can give. She once told me "God has not told you that you are to carry this sickness all of your life; however He might let you carry it until He makes sure that your pride is dead and well buried" How truly wise!

Through this disease the Lord has taught me a few things. One is that we are to depend fully, absolutely on Him. It is true that many times I cannot hear or understand what people are telling me, but this brings me to the point where I have to rely fully on the Holy Spirit. I cannot do music at present as I loved to do, but oh, how I love to cross over and hear the music of the Spirit.

I have learnt to hear His voice in a way that I did not know before I lost my ears. Oh how much we need to learn to depend on Him and to forcefully crash our pride every day. Another thing that we need to really understand is that ministry is not about appearances, or making it "look good" as my friend's advice suggested, that if it was some hidden disease then it would not affect my ministry. No sir, I still might have the problem but it does not mean a shortage in God's power. (We could go here to a great length about how many things other than a disease might be consider "not a big deal" as long as they remain hidden but that is another issue).

When I was still thinking "logically" about praying or not for the sick I was invited to minister at a church in the USA. I preached and prayed but I did not make much reference to healing or miracles. I had made an altar call and there was a big crowd already at the altar. I could feel the presence of God in a rather strong way, and as I was kneeling behind the pulpit I heard the Holy Spirit say "I want to do miracles, why are you trying to stop me?" I stood before Him accused of hindering Him and had to immediately ask for forgiveness. I promised then that I would never consciously do anything that might hinder Him; that I would always pray for those in need even if I do not see a miracle, for I know now that every time we pray something happens, whether we see it or not something happen, and this prayer today adds to the prayers said yesterday, and if the miracle did not happen today the prayers will add up to the prayers tomorrow until we have so to say enough prayers on our account for a miracle to happen.
