An online guide to the Latin Low Mass has been added to the Angelqueen site.
Using a variety of sources, the Mass has been divided into sections with narrative explanation, illustration, history and background. The Latin is side by side with the English exegesis/translation. There are also sections on the altar setup, the vestments, and the furnishings and equipment with photos and descriptions. You can start at the intro and click through the entire mass by hitting the "next" link on each page. Or use the table of contents to find various sections.
One reason it was put together was to offer a more extensive online reference as opposed to a simple translation. While there is no way any web page can impart the significance of our Mass, it may be a useful resource to some.
The Latin was not touched or corrected in any way. In the English exegesis, only typos and such were corrected. Still I'm sure that there are mistakes or corrections that need to be made, especially in the narration etc. If so, please don't hesitate to contact me so that I can remedy such ASAP.
God bless.

Thanks! I got a book for kids to learn it.
How about an rss feed, please?

That's great especially since I will be attending my first Latin Mass in all these years soon, as soon as health and weather permit. (Will be going to Post Falls, ID. chapel).
rss .91 or 2.0?
Many thanks!
You mean from the "Latest News" page correct?
If so, try this and let me know if it works:
http://angelqueen.org/forum/topics_anywhere.php?mode=show&out=rss2.0&f=2&n=10&h='a\'s\'m\'p\'l\&so=d&b=non&lpd=5
I can change the number of posts, change the date format, add bullets or put it in a table if you need me to.
I can also give you one for the Martyrology and/or forum sections if you like. Let me know when it's done, I'm curious as to how it will look. I've never done this.
You have a most befitting handle! Thank-you!
Good post. Thanks for the info.
This is very interesting. Too bad I was too young to remember the Latin Mass when it was THE Mass. :'(
Thanks.

Just pasted the url into my rss feed reader (akregator in Linux), and it grabs the headlines (not body), which is fine by me. Also tried in in XP, but rssOwl doesn't do 2.0, I think. The url works in SBC's reader, which does 2.0.
Lemme see! I don't do rss!
Gratias.
I just wanted to follow up my comment by stating that these vestments (as far as I know) are still worn by our priests. (Just in case any non-Catholics are reading this)
Wasn't it true at one time that the outer vestment had to be silk? Was that ever true, and if so, is it still a current policy?
Good job.
