FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO ARGUE THE MERITS OF PRAYING FOR OBAMA, THE JUSTIFICATION FOR SUCH COMES FROM SCRIPTURE. SPECIFICALLY...
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for ALL MEN; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. It is stunning that we are even in such a situation; however, at least as of this evening there still exists a Constitutional check and balance in our system. Lord, raise up leaders for us during the next few months and years that will not be afraid to stand for truth, will not be bought or sold, and will be effective in turning the ship of state back around.
We ask this not because we think that one party is better than the other, though in terms of legislation one is. We ask it because one party has set itself rather boldly against You through the promotion of the homosexual agenda, the advocation of infanticide, and the mockery of those who have biblical convictions upon which this nation was founded. Unfortunately, in terms of standing for truth, the other side isn't much better. They love position more than principle and personal reward more than responsibility to the voters, the Constitution and You. Overall, our leaders love their seats in Washington more than they love the Republic itself; they love celebrity more than their own souls. And because of this, and because of the apathy and ignorance of the American people at large, we are close to losing it all. I have long given up the notion that we would repent on our own. We need You to touch the hearts of the people and the leaders or else we will surely perish.
Lord, if Obama is able to implement his agenda, it will spell destruction for this land as well. We ask for Your intervention. First, if possible, to convict Obama of where he is wrong and draw him to repentance and salvation through Christ Jesus. Second, if he has been given over, then to stop the agenda he seeks to push which a great number of people in this land still do not agree with nor support. Hopefully there are 100 righteous souls left in this nation that You might save us. We long for Your mercy and depend upon Your grace to see us through. Undeserving, we fully admit; yet, longing to see this nation Love You again. I pray that it is so.
And I pray all of these things in the loving name of Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior, Amen.

That’s wonderful.
But it implies that somehow God wanted Dwight Clark to catch a pass from Joe Montana and break my heart. Some folks in Gay Bay prayed harder than me. God broke an 8th graders heart.
I prayed too that the Cowboys would win that game in 1982. So God took sides and decided?
Well, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.
In 1993 we had our own version of “The Catch”. Aikman to Harper.
Our prayers are according to God’s will. If God chooses not to save this nation, then He is sovereign and righteous anyway. Prayer is not a magic formula. It is a conversation between us and God that changes things. Most often, it changes us. Whatever God’s will is towards America (and do know that He has a direct plan for this nation) we pray in accordance with what we know are his principles, ask for mercy, and accept His will regardless.
May The Lord, God Almighty
bless and keep Obamao far away from the Whitehouse;
preferably in Leavenworth for fraud;
in great contrition, brokeness, repentance, humility and humiliation for his outrageous arrogance;
donating most of his substance to the poor for the frauds perpetrated against the electorate;
May his lies be abundantly exposed by the power of Holy Spirit and angelic forces;
May he be asahamed to show his face in public because the derision of 90% of the people becomes so great along with their outraged at being duped by such a charlatan;
May his children beg for assumed names to avoid being tared with his evils;
May his wife distance herself from him or suffer the same punishment for her complicity;
May his globalist supporters abandon him as too great a liability;
May his Democrat supporters abandon him as too humiliating to be associated with.
May his dogs run away.
May his friends and relatives always be too busy when he calls;
May his atny’s quadruple their fees.
May his food be bland and his entertainment empty and boring to him.
May he face everywhere an existential mirror shoving in his face the evils of his heart and actions he has so obviouisly relished in for so long.
May his arrognace repeatedly cause him to fall in the many pits he has dug for our country as well as those he is planning to dig.
May his travels be fraught with boring and frustrating delays and impossible complications to the point of exasperation.
May those he has considered his closest friends begin to spit at the mention of his name of sight of him.
May he brazenly call himself a Muslim to avoid continuing to profane the name “Christian.”
May he toss and turn on his bed nightly with little sleep until he repents and seeks to abandon any public role—perhaps seeking solitude in a monestary somewhere if he escapes formal punishment for his fraud.
May he be relentlessly haunted by the countless lies he has told. May he have nightmares of the lies being plastered on the nightly news and billboards across the land with every comic and news commentator mocking him and derisively assaulting him for his cheeky lies.
May he confess that he was born in Kenya and is not Constitutionally quailified to be dog catcher, much less POTUS.
May he tearfully cry convulsively and uncontrollably for 15 minutes at every sighting of the American flag for his disrespect to it.
May he be so overwhelmed with contrition and repentance that he sits on the Washington Mall in sackcloth and ashes eating bread and water for 40 days and nights—after resigning as President Elect.
May he retch and grieve over the day he ever decided to run for any public office.
May he confess all the lawless Marxist deeds he has done as well as those he has planned.
All this and whatever else would be fitting, may it be his lot, in Jesus’ Name.
The other side is praying too.
That scares me.
That’s why I’m a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and Mormon. I’m covering my bases.
I don’t want to make Him angry. What if I picked the wrong religion?
One day every tongue will confess that You are Lord of Lords, and King of Kings! One day every knee will bow to You in worship. One day every nation will stand before You to answer.
Almighty God, it is You who knows the hearts and minds of mankind. It is You who has knitted each human together in the womb. It is You who sets up rulers and kings. It is You who brings them down.
I ask You, Merciful God, to remember the righteous founders of this country who set up this government after much prayer. I thank You for the wisdom and courage of those brave patriots. Forgive this nation and her people, I ask You, and deliver us from evil. Let your light shine in even the most hidden, dark secret place so that this nation and her people may live in freedom and peace. Protect us Most High God! According to Your Holy Word, I pray for godly leaders. I ask You to help us root out ungodly leaders.
In the name of Your magnificant Son, and my Lord and Savior, Jesus the redeemer, I ask these things-Amen!!
Father God, teach this SCOTUS Your Word, and Your ways during this season of their lives, like they've never known it before. Lord, in past times the SCOTUS has handed out decisions that have led to our Country's moral deterioration, and today, may be one reason, we fail to experience all Your blessings. In the Old Testament, You raised judges up when Israel abandoned idolatry and turned to You for help. These “judges” were national leaders in the fullest sense, for they functioned as military commanders, religious leaders, and governors of the tribes they served. O Lord, help this Country do the same today, to abandoned idolatry, that we may turn to You for help, so that our SCOTUS would serve this Nation for the good, in the fullest sense of the word. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen

God will not answer any prayer that violates His will & principles.
Oh Holy Spirit of God, come in Obama’s heart and fill him. Open the windows of his soul to let You in. Come and possess him. Fill him with Your Light and Truth. I offer You the one thing that Obama truly possesses— his capacity to be filled by You. Fill Obama so that he may live the life of the Holy Spirit— the life of Truth and Goodness, the life of Beauty and Love, the life of Wisdom and Strength. Guide him in all things, to the circumstances in which he can best serve You, whether by his actions or by his sufferings. But above all make Christ be formed in Obama, so that he is always in You and You are always in him, now and forever. Amen
