For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
Psalm32:6
We begin by asking for You to call people to intercede for our troops and for those standing to preserve those values which established us and our country. We believe You for enough people to stand in the gap to accomplish Your good and perfect will. I ask You to guide us all by Your Spirit as we pray and ask for a blessing on the life of each one who is choosing to set aside his own activity and care in order to fulfill Your will to pray for our Nation.
We pray for victory and safekeeping for our defenders of freedom. Give leaders the insight and plans they need to seek and find our enemies in whatever place they are hidinghere or abroad. We pray for a blessing for each one and his family awaiting his return. Cover them with Your wings. Show them how to be victorious. Keep them in Your peace. Let Your joy be their strength. Sanctify them spirit, soul and body.

We thank You, Sir, for James Dobson and the Focus on the Family staff who labor to keep our families and our country following Your righteousness. Thank You for showing them where our Nation is slipping and for publishing facts and truth to keep us alert and encouraged. We know You are blessing their courageous work, but we pray for You to expand their borders and increase their fruitfulness. Meet all of their needs according to Your abundant riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May they have abundance for every good work. We ask You to surround them with Your goodness and favor and show the world Your blessing in their individual lives.
For the grace we have sought today, we thank You in Jesus' name. Amen.
Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith. (Heb. 10:22)
A call to prayer for our heroes.
I pray for them every day. Thanks for reminder also.
I just hope my loved ones and I are worthy of their many sacrifices. I try to be, always.
God bless all our brave troops.
Call answered...Prayers Up!!
Prayers going up for our troops!
May God keep our troops away from harm!
AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!
“He humbled himself.”
- Philippians 2:8
Jesus is the great teacher of lowliness of heart. We need daily to learn
of him. See the Master taking a towel and washing his disciples’ feet!
Follower of Christ, wilt thou not humble thyself? See him as the Servant
of servants, and surely thou canst not be proud! Is not this sentence the
compendium of his biography, “He humbled himself”? Was he not on earth
always stripping off first one robe of honour and then another, till,
naked, he was fastened to the cross, and there did he not empty out his
inmost self, pouring out his life-blood, giving up for all of us, till
they laid him penniless in a borrowed grave? How low was our dear Redeemer
brought! How then can we be proud? Stand at the foot of the cross, and
count the purple drops by which you have been cleansed; see the
thorn-crown; mark his scourged shoulders, still gushing with encrimsoned
rills; see hands and feet given up to the rough iron, and his whole self
to mockery and scorn; see the bitterness, and the pangs, and the throes of
inward grief, showing themselves in his outward frame; hear the thrilling
shriek, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” And if you do not lie
prostrate on the ground before that cross, you have never seen it: if you
are not humbled in the presence of Jesus, you do not know him. You were so
lost that nothing could save you but the sacrifice of God’s only begotten.
Think of that, and as Jesus stooped for you, bow yourself in lowliness at
his feet. A sense of Christ’s amazing love to us has a greater tendency to
humble us than even a consciousness of our own guilt. May the Lord bring
us in contemplation to Calvary, then our position will no longer be that
of the pompous man of pride, but we shall take the humble place of one who
loves much because much has been forgiven him.
Pride cannot live beneath the cross.
Let us sit there and learn our lesson, and then rise and carry it into
practice.
SOLI DEO GLORIA!
Holy God,
We pray today for William Long’s family as they mourn the loss of his life due to the senseless actions of a domestic terrorist. Comfort them, Lord, and bring healing to their broken hearts. We pray for the soul of William, that he belonged to You and may spend eternity with You, our heavenly King. Mighty Lord, awaken the people of this nation to the very truth about those who hate us. Help us to call upon You, for only You can save this nation from those who seek to destroy us. Protect our military men and women, and grant them the courage for each new day. Make haste to deliver us from evil, Dear God. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Amen.
AMEN and Amen, Faith. Thank you for adding this hero to our prayer today.
" Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord God is with you wherever you go."
~Joshua 1:9
I join in prayer for our heroes!
'Then at Last the Lord of Hosts Himself will be their Crowning Glory,
The Diadem of Beauty to His People.' (Is.28:5)
