Joke in my Pentecostal church from a child, “Those Baptists really think Jesus spoke King James English!”. I’m sure they had similiar jokes regarding us, haha.
Back in the 80’s, you could find U2 albums in Christian music stores because they were ‘spiritual’. Especially the Joshua Tree.
Well, I missed the two (2&3) that tripped most people up.

Most of the Baptist jokes I’ve heard concern food in some way, socials, fellowship dinners, so forth.
A true story.
Many years ago when my youngest daughter got married, we had the reception meal at a buffet. The Minister sat by me. After putting away an enormous amount of food, he turned to me and excused himself by saying that he had to leave now, or he’d be late for a supper that they were having at the church.
He was Lutheran and of a rather small build. I told him he must have some Baptist in him somewhere.
Well, that settles it then. It had to be a trick question.
