Confusing ritual...so what does the surrogate get out of this practice? He’s supposedly has preached to the departed the Mormon Gospel? But that is impossible...they have gone to be with the Lord or are suffering elsewhere...there is a gap between our world and theirs’ which neither side can cross.

You are mistaken that I did not want an answer as most here do know I am trying to undeerstand the workings of the mormon rituals and their belief system. It is true I do not see the mormon faith as Christian and have defended Christianity for that...this does not mean that I will not try to understand why and how people within the Mormon organization practice and why.
I asked a sincere question...you gave a straitforward answer..that’s how it’s done. So why not help people see your point of view rather than withdraw.
You say your practices are quite Biblical...ok then please do support those practices from scripture and lets debate them as ones defending their faith would and should.
