Of course he was excommunicated, its a felony. Felons cant be rebaptized until their civil rights have been restored, according to the Handbook of Instructions I have.

Mormons believe in a heirarchy of sins, some are worse than others and some are not covered by the Blood of Christ (murder, apostasy, marrying a negro - and yes I can source that).

Making ‘the Church’ look bad is also a biggie.

You are no longer LDS, so you are obviously not reading the handbook correctly.

The government seized roughly $4 million in fine art, including Rembrandt prints, as well as antique cars, sports memorabilia and animal trophies collected on safari trips.

Makes you wonder how many Mormons continue to contribute to high end living for the Mormon leadership....they do allot of investment..real-estate both commercial and otherwise. Oh were they to open their books to the underlings! Their would be a grand Exodus from the LDS.....Oops I forgot...they would believe whatever reasoning the leadership might give if that was revealed as they already believe what they should not.

ROFL! They would probably say something stupid like that. Boy, the dumb things and outright lies that came out of Mormon mouths this week stunned even me!

I am so mad at the holier-than-thou attitude of Mormonism

My Daughter in Law who is smart, beautiful, talented, a young mom, and works for the Utah Court system, just posted the following on her Facebook page.... and the comments that followed.

DIL:  It is kind of sad when you are at the neighborhood park and you feel shunned by the other moms because you are wearing a tanktop.

When stuff like that happens to you, you not only "feel" shunned...you ARE! I got my kids out of the mormon mess before they were very old, but they still experienced crap like that....."nicest people in the world"..."normal"....no wonder they need to spend the money on the PR campaign.

Just imagine if your DD had a thermos of coffee with her ;)

Oh my yes - coffee, the ultimate sin! Don’t EVER be caught coming out of Starbucks. You might as well be seen coming out of a strip parlor.

Imperfect people were being imperfect!!!

Nice to know you rushed in here to defend a criminal who stole millions by downplaying his crimes as mere "imperfections." (You missed your career as a defense attorney)

(Only you forgot to mention that the victims were Mormons, too...or are they just NOT on your radar screen?)

Once again, over the top ridiculous anti-Mormon babble on the freeper board.

(BTW, do you always defend criminal fraudsters on these boards, or just Mormon criminal fraudsters? 'Cause it makes me wonder how identity sociology might move upon were you ever to be considered as a juror in the case of a Mormon on trial).

...over the top...

(BTW, when the publishers of the Nauvoo Expositor accused Joseph Smith of committing polygamy, among other things, in June of 1844, did they go "over the top"?? And did that justify Mayor Joseph Smith ordering the destruction of the facility and contents which housed the publishing equipment? Is that same squelching spirit of destruction -- wanting to clamp down when somebody publishes something about the crimes of Mormons -- what you feel in your gut at this time? Does that promote free expression in a Free Republic?)

Laugh, its OK. Even though you are a Mormon apologist I will still give you CPR or Save you from a burning building.

Christ is good like that.

Sure, any legalistic church can be in the cross hairs.

I was born Catholic but I recognize that they are also a very legalistic church.

Your point is what? Catholics are “Also” wrong. OK sure, Catholics are just as wrong as the LDS church when it comes to legalisms. Now What?
