I love the straight-forward way you dodge the issue! So what exactly are you getting at with all the runarounds? So for the fourth time... what else happened on 8/30 that I don’t know about? Where are the example posts of “Mormon accusations” against fellow Freepers regarding the murder of an innocent man regardless of religious affiliation? I really appreciate your tagline especially as it fits here.

"But the Fact that he was killed by an Anti doesn’t build any of the credibility for the Anti-Mormon movement here on FR."

Not an accurate statement. A point of clarification, the murderer was a mentally ill ex-mormon. Initial reports claimed he was an “anti” but later investigation revealed a very complex, yet sad situation revolving around mental illness.

But the behavior of a FR "anti" does not come anywhere near reflecting that of the murderer. Yet that did/does not prevent the mormons or some of their “friends/defenders” from attempting to make that connection.

Since you keep claiming ignorance/innoncence, read the first 50 or so posts and then post #72. Shouldn't take too long. "LDS bishop shot to death in California church" is the title of the thread, if you're interested.

"...anti-Mormon gangs..."

What? Now I'm in a "gang"? What are our colors?

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all of my "affiliations" here. Why don't you [mormons who like to call others names] all get together and make a list for us?

What? Now I'm in a "gang"? What are our colors?

Our color is tannish-brown, Szone...members of the Church of the Dead tree. "Brother Bruce" -- Lds apostle Bruce McConkie, said so in his 1979 version of "Mormon Doctrine": "Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are not Protestants, and the Church itself is not a Protestant Church. The true Church is not a dead branch broken from a dead tree... (p. 610)

The dead tree is the cross. And I'd claim like Saundra D. always does re: Mormonism, that she's "proud" to be linked to the Mormon church...except that one of my sins on that dead tree absorbed by Christ was pride...and I'm not very "proud" of my pride...nor any of those other sins of mine placed there.

But, Szone...maybe we could do what Joseph Smith did. He joined Masonry and then immediately introduced secret handshakes into Mormonism. (Don't gangs have certain handshakes or hand signs???)

Hey, PD, SD...do you have a "secret handshake" only known by your spouse to avoid after-death confusion with other spirits trying to proclaim that they, too, are your spouse? (Wouldn't want members of other gangs to get into your new world you will rule, create, populate, and then receive worship & prayer from, would ya?)

I read it and saw several anti-homosexual references but not any that match the description that was being contested... unless of course you are stating that Anti-Mormon = Homosexual... just the logical end point.
As for post #72... I guess there is ONE post out there where a Freeper did allude to such a thing. SZonian, thank you for this help where others obviously could/would not therefore enabling ignorance. I hope your RM friend and his family are good. May you have success in your endeavors.

Nope. I don’t actually want to ping the original poster who said the diabolical thing which I would have to do if I introduced his/her post into this thread. This particular nasty Mormon poster is the reason I have gone so vocal on FreeRepublic about my experiences within Mormonism.

BTW, one of your own Mormon compatriots, Reno323, got the Jim Robinson axe over his suggestion that a freeper might have done the killing. His offending post was removed, so I can’t link it.

There were other thinly veiled references to anti’s and the RF in the first 50, post 72 is what really got the ball rolling. There were many other posts later on that essentially “supported” the assertion made in #72.

“RM friend”? My memory fails me right now.

I merely point out the obsessive and bizzare behavior that makes this a new “attack the Mormons” thread.

Dang!!

Missed it AGAIN!

Which replies WERE those?

No, my point is that the complaint be directed toward Mormons could be directed to other religions. I didnt say it was wrong to ex-communicate.
