Lord, we pray for our military, knowing that they are not strong enough, and that You are. Please give them strength when they are weary and increase their power when they are weak.
Father, we pray to You for Your church in the Middle East, that You will defend and rescue them. Comfort them in the face of persecution, and give them grace to keep the good confession.
LORD, we have heard, and we know, that You are the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. You will not grow tired or weary, and Your understanding no one can fathom. You are the strength of the weak, and You give rest to the weary. Youths grow tired, young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in You will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary, and they will walk and not be faint, because of You. We thank You who gives rest to our souls, in the eternal Name of Jesus, Amen.
