Father, once again we pray for a revelation of Your great love for our American Troops, leaders and peoples. We pray, Sir, that You would grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in our inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Of Wisdom, You say, “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth.” (Ps. 8:14-16), and so we pray for this wisdom and understanding for our elected and appointed leaders. Many do not know to ask You for wisdom, so we ask You on their behalf and thank You that You do not withhold wisdom from those who ask for it.
We acknowledge that You are the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To You be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Amen to your beautiful prayer, filled with the wonderful words of the Psalmist and the loving prayer of the apostle Paul. Yes, Lord, we need that revelation so much. May each one of us have a personal knowledge of the great and awesome love of Jesus Christ. We praise You for the finished work of the Cross that gives meaning and blessing to each and every life. Help us to share the love of Christ with all people, for as we do unto the least of these, we do so unto You. In the Name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.
