When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

So, Lord, when You awake,
You shall despise their image.
21 Thus my heart was grieved,
And I was vexed in my mind.
22 I was so foolish and ignorant;
I was like a beast before You.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with You;
You hold me by my right hand.
24 You will guide me with Your counsel,
And afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
26 My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27 For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,
That I may declare all Your works.

Father God, we are gathered to pray in the name of Jesus and thank You for Your Word. It is a light to our path and helps us change course when we go against Your way of doing and being right. We ask forgiveness for our anxiety concerning the wicked who appear to prevail against us here in this Nation. Forgive us for looking at their apparent success. Cleanse us from the sin of envy and fear by the blood of Jesus and help us to renew our minds this day. Your Word helps us to remember that the wicked do not prosper in the end because of Your righteous judgments.

We reflect today, instead on the goodness You have shown each of us. Oh, thank You for such an awesome salvation! Thank You for showing us Your goodness! Thank You for eternal life! Thank You for meeting all of our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus! Thank You for the peace that passes understanding that guards our hearts and minds in Jesus! Thank You that You show us Your mercy, grace and love in the midst of an evil generation! Your example of the light that shown in Goshen when Egypt fell under the plagues encourages us.

With cleansed hearts, we pray for our American Heroes. Truly, we say, “God bless them all!”, understanding the depth of the word, “bless” when it comes from You. Protect, guide, heal and give victory to each one, Sir. Grant them Your awesome favor as they battle evil in the natural realm, while we battle for them in the supernatural realm.

Thank You for the work You are surely doing to bring our Nation back to You. America, again! Put each of Your servants in their proper place.

But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,
That I may declare all Your works.
