A North Texas congregation is reeling after an attacker rammed a car into a church wall, chased the pastor, and beat him to death with an electric guitar.
Police told reporters they didn't know why the unidentified suspect attacked Rev. Danny Kirk Sr., founding pastor of the Greater Sweethome MIssionary Baptist Church.
In a harrowing 911 call an unidentified church secretary said that some staff tried to fight him off but that Kirk was in desperate need of an ambulance.

Now, FOR SOME REASON, he stopped breathing while with the cops and was pronounced dead when cops got to hospital.
I think the cops (I saw one was black), stopped somewhere and made sure the killer stopped breathing.
Justice happened right there - no trial and the guy getting a few years and get out. He stopped living right after he stopped the minister living.

The preacher was a big man, as was the janitor. This crazy nut crashed a car into the church on Monday morning, gets out and start beating the hell out of the janitor.
The preacher tries to intervene and gets knocked out. Then the bad guy grabs an electric guitar and starts clubbing the big guy. It must have been real ugly because he was still bashing him when the cops finally arrived. Nothing would stop the guy until the cops tazed him and threw him in the car.
The preachers brother is a sheriff in another TX county, or was. This is scary stuff. Mental wacko needed double tap from a .45. Nothing less would have stopped him. Mental wacko, not drugs but just crazy. They are out there, just hope you or your family members never run across this type unarmed.
The Texas that I knew would've had multiple holes in the murderer long before his 3rd strike with the guitar... even in a church.
Reminds me of the local pain-in-the-butt atheist here years ago. Constantly causing problems till the day he died, and he died praying for god to forgive him.

Reporters do not write their own headlines. Headline writers work hurriedly and don’t always read the copy carefully. That appears to be the case here.
Nothing “mega” about that church.
