Why there will be war

Thompson’s articles are always to the point. Good read.
“In a recent airing of the “Sean Hannity” show on Fox Cable News, Hannity hosted two Catholic priests and a female Fox religion commentator to discuss the Robertson issue.”
Anyone know the names of the two priests in question? I ask because I would like to see the video. The author of the article does not seem to actually know what the full teaching on homosexuality is according to the Catholic faith.
Yeah, looks I was right. The author of the article doesn’t know the full teaching. Here is what is stated elsewhere:
Hannity asked if pre-marital sex, drunkenness, and other things mentioned by Robertson are sins. Morris and Murray said yes. Hannity asked if homosexuality is a sin. Morris said that while homosexuality isn’t a sin, homosexual acts are sinful. Hannity wanted to know what the difference is. When Morris discussed how “inclination” towards sin isn’t sinful, Hannity asked about if “lusting in your heart” is adultery. Morris claimed that Robertson made that distinction. Murray chimed in with the official Catholic position that homosexuality is “a disordered inclination” which should be resisted.

The war starts the minute the EBT cards quit working.
People are used to going along to get along, there won't be a war.
There will be blood.
War -OR- Tyranny....?
Your Choice!... it will be one or the other..
After being forced to fund government NEA money for public display of photographs of a crucifix in a bucket of urine, methinks Joe Public is just a bit hardened to the idea that he must be "inoffensive" to whatever shifting and subjective standard he is expected to defer.
The man has no concept for Christ's teaching:
Yeshua not only did not dispense with the Mosaic Law, He raised the standards of obedience.
Revolt is coming.
Not so sure the “masses” of Americans any longer stand for morality. If amnesty passes, the moral will be a permanent minority, doomed to persecution.
The first priest's point seemed to be that it is not sinful to be tempted. As a married father, I can be tempted to commit adultery, but so long as I do not give in to that temptation or encourage it, but rather resist it, I have not sinned. The same is true for someone who, for whatever reason (often due to childhood sexual abuse) suffers from homosexual attraction, but through prayer and devotion successfully resists those attractions, and seeks healing from such attractions.
The second priest was referring to Church teaching, which rightly considers homosexual attraction to be "disordered," i.e., homosexual attraction is contrary to the Divine plan for humankind. Once again, if those attractions are not acted upon, no sin has been committed. However, those with homosexual attractions should make every effort to seek healing from such attractions and the development of godly heterosexual attraction.
Full disclosure: I did my Ph.D. - from a Jesuit university - on this subject from a biblical perspective. BTW I am not Catholic but have a deep respect for the Church.
I thought I might add a folksy metaphor I read somewhere that helps distinguish between having an attraction and lusting: A temptation is like a spark that lands on your jacket sleeve. If you immediately brush it off, no harm is done. If you don’t, it burns a hole in your sleeve and has done some damage.
Might have been Robert Schilling or a similar writer.
We often forget how horrific the scene was back then. Please read Robert Bork's Slouching Toward Gomorrah for a front row seat to the demonic debacle. That culture has only become ensconced in places of power in the ensuing decades.
Now Greta's an @$$#01e?
Pffft. Lost me right there.
This Has all been predicted,Christ said he was persecuted,we. Christians are and will be persecuted as well.
There will be wars and rumors of wars, let not your heart be troubled, for all these things must come to pass, fear not,for I am with you always, even until the end of time
