We don’t need the Bible, we have Team Francis to tell us what it says and means

The Vatican doesn’t care what happens to the Bible. They’re not using it.

Good catch - here is the Wayback machine search results, going back 16 years.

You probably already found this elsewhere, but may I suggest Ephesians 6?

It is quite balanced, because, although it admonishes children to obey their parents, it also tells fathers not to “exasperate” their children.

Well, since the catholic church has already changed the scripture in the Bible to suit them, I’d say it makes little difference.

The Catholic church never had the true Bible in the first place so it really doesn’t matter.

Pick a version, any version.

Pick a Language, any language.

There is only one mediator between God and man. That would be Jesus, not the church, not your denomination, not a guy with a white hat, black hat, red hat, or a Yamulka. Jesus, just Jesus. One more time. Jesus. Got it. Hey, Jesus is the mediator, the way, the truth. Hey. did you hear about Jesus? Check the link. Its about Jesus. Cover to cover. 66 glorious books. Jesus.

The Latin Vulgate is easily found: here.

Not sure it makes sense for the Vatican website to have Bibles in different national languages, except maybe Italian. They're right; go to the national bishops' conference, or to a commercial publisher.

The Vatican removed the Bible from its website, eh?

Can’t say as that surprises me one bit.

It’s not like they follow it anyways.

People might actually start reading it and Roman Catholicism certainly doesn’t want that to happen.
