A Cruz/Carson Ticket.Would This Be The GOP's Best Chance To Win In 2016?

Whether it's Cruz/Carson or Carson/Cruz, the Democrat ticket will have reason to worry. An Hispanic&Black ticket is the GOP's best hope to beat Hillary, or who ever is the nominee. This ticket will have the left leaning media in a state of panic. They can't bash a minority ticket. And what will Debbie Wasserman do? Accuse Ted and Ben of wife beating? If Hillary is the nominee and she is up against Cruz/Carson, will be interesting to see how she tries to tear down the first "Black/Hispanic Ticket".

There is no conclusive evidence that “natural-born citizen” means anything more restrictive than “a citizen at the time of birth,” whether that citizenship was transmitted through a citizen parent or citizen parents, or by birth within the United States.

I am for Cruz and Carson may be OK as Veep (not Pres), but remember that we have passed the tipping point what with so many Americans - citizens and non citizens alike - living on Uncle Sugar, who is funded almost exclusively by the RAT party.

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

You didn't tell us how and why, exactly, you think Carson will be viewed differently than any other black Republican. Did he hit on the magic formula?

I've been thinking. I'm amazed how many people across the political spectrum who know that Steve Forbes might be the only answer to clean up the economic mess. (a constitutional conservative)/Steve Forbes. The US might be so fed up that full-tilt nerd could win. Jeff Sessions/Steve Forbes just might come across as grownups who could solve the problem.

May I be blunt? I don't the US is going to want another black President, unless extremely well proven with a voting record and effective conservative positions in the US Senate, for at least 20 years. If Carson wanted to change my mind, he should be running for the US Senate NOW...he didn't.

You make some very valid points, Cheerio, and they are well taken. However, we are NOT a Democracy in this nation. We are a Constitutional Republic; big difference. Jesus said: "The poor you have with you always." (Mark 14:7) Mitt Romney called them "the 47 percent" who will always be around and never vote Republican. So, we have to do one of three things:

1. Get used to it.

2. Elect people to office who have the 'nads to make receiving Entitlements unpleasant. (Like random drug testing for recipients as one example.) and who know how to create jobs and put people to work or......

3. Ignore them and hope they go away and in doing so, remaing the party out of power in D.C. from now on.
