Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says he trails Ted Cruz in a new Wall Street Journal poll because the publication has it out for him.
"I think somebody at the Wall Street Journal doesn't like me," he told hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski during a MSNBC town hall in Charleston, S.C.
"I think most of the polls were taken after the debate and they worked out good for me," Trump said. "I have never done well with the Wall Street Journal poll. I don't know. They do these small samples and I don't know exactly what it represents." The Wall Street Journal released a poll earlier Wednesday showing Cruz leading trump by 2 points nationwide. Trump had held the top spot in 31 consecutive national polls before it.
Trump reiterated his threat to sue Cruz.
"I've had great success with lawsuits," he said. "I've had great success in things I do, and I don't know that we're going to have a lawsuit. We certainly want to keep somebody honest. Like as an example, I'm pro-life and he said, 'He's not pro-life.' He can't say that."
Trump added that he had some warm feelings toward Cruz until the Texas senator's actions during the Iowa caucuses earlier this month.
"What he did to Ben Carson I thought was disgraceful in Iowa," he said. "When he said, '[Carson] was out of the race.' I thought that was bad. I thought the voter fraud document he did was horrendous. And he's told lies. He tells lies."
Although a successful businessman used to epitomize conservatism, I understand your perspective in that today’s (version of) conservatism fails to understand business restructuring and fails to understand who the founders were and what their intentions were for the country - they would eschew the lawyer and political hack class running the country.
In my conservative, fight’n neighborhood it’s called standing your ground and hitting back. Why are you using the standard old democrat playbook that says any response to BS is whining and blaming? I gather you didn’t learn too much from the recent election cycles.
Exactly what Boots ‘n Belly did to the media that ran ads he didn’t like. Yepper! Cruz threatened them with lawsuits. You Cruz fans don’t read up much, do your.
Three great things are coming from this poll.
1) Trump is losing to Cruz by 15 points in a one-on-one matchup.
2) Trump will have a Trumpertantrum, further cementing his image of instability.
3) This poll should encourage other non-Trump voters to get behind Cruz as the Trump alternative, which is critical before Super Tuesday.

And we want to see the paper tiger in the empty suit get deposed by... Cruz! LOL
Sue Trump, sue!
No brainer. Murdoch get’s his WSJ poll skewed, later today we have two FOX polls coming out. I’m sure the results will be equally “surprising”.
Interesting, the latest darling of Wall street is Cruz;
“Cruz/PACs received 50% more “donations” from Wall Street than the “donations” received by Hillary/PACs!”

By having Trump on every night for 6 months.

You never got back to me re: Do you donate monthly to Free Republic?
Got an answer.
Paranoid as well as narcissistic. Just what we want in a president.
