Illinois Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger shared on Tuesday a few of the "hateful, vitriolic" messages he received following the June 14 congressional baseball practice shooting at a Virginia park, that left his GOP colleague Rep. Steve Scalise in critical condition.
The House Majority Whip's condition has since been upgraded to serious.
Kinzinger, who serves Illinois' 16th Congressional District, posted on Facebook some messages he said he received from the public, writing, "We must rise above the angry rhetoric coming from all sides. Below are just a few of the hateful, vitriolic messages I received AFTER the #AlexandriaShooting. I know this is not the worst of it, and that I’ll get even more comments on this post itself, but it’s shocking and disturbing nonetheless."
Some messages he shared unabashedly embraced violence, while others were a bit tamer.
One tweet, making reference to the shooting taking place at a baseball diamond, reads, "@RepKinzinger Too bad you weren't on second base!!"
Another tweet reads, "GOP IS NASTY VIOLENT PARTY; YOU DESERVE TO SUFFER & DIE!"(continued)

Isn’t the Justice Department supposed to get involved in a direct threat to a government official?
Or has that stopped because Twitter makes threats (to conservatives) so very common nowadays?
Time for the Secret Service to start tracing these tweeters (the violent ones), down, tracking them down, and taking them down.
It should be a “real downer” lesson for them.

For all the talk of the “Tea Party terrorists” by the left / MSM I don’t remember any shootings by the ‘right wing crazies.’
I do remember peaceful protests and the Washington D.C. locations we visited being left neater than we found them.
The real dangerous loons are now ‘mainstream’ with the MSM (CNN, ABC, etc.) spouting Russian conspiracy theories, lying about Trump, and creating a histrionic tone of global destruction. That’s 24/7. Certainly a few of the more mentally fragile will crack with that constant crazy horn going off.

Even with a flood of questionable accusations (most of which seem to be deliberate misconstrual of Donald), one would normally expect a political uproar, not murders. We don’t want to throw in with the left on this, because then it becomes a battle of the snowflakes.
The MSM makes Glen Beck of 2008 look calm. It’s a non-stop ‘the Russians have taken over our government with Trump as Putin’s puppet.’
The message boards (Democratic Underground for one), Huffington Post. They are telling their followers that this is 1930s Germany and ‘bashing Nazis’ is what they need to do.
When that’s the typical Democrat position, how many on the edge psychologically are going to be pushed off the cliff?
Look how celebrated the Scalise shooting was on the left. It was all over Twitter.
I don’t think we’ve seen the worst yet.
