STOP MICHAEL MOORE FROM PROFITTING IN HIS ATTACKS ON AMERICA & OUR MILITARY
Moveamericaforward.org ^

“Bash America” filmmaker Michael Moore is about to unleash an attack on the U.S. Military, the heroic men and women of the Armed Forces and our Commander-In-Chief via his film “Fahrenheit 9/11.”

Inexplicably, more than 1,000 theaters have indicated they will proudly broadcast what The Guardian calls an “anti-war/anti-Bush” film – beginning June 25th. And the number keeps growing each day. The goal of the film is abundantly clear: to undermine the war on terrorism.

Moore has said the following about the film:

“Half the movie is about Iraq – we were able to get film crews embedded with American troops without them knowing it was Michael Moore. They are totally f***ed.”

After it was pre-screened, one Blame American First viewer cried, “It made me wanna burn my passport.”

Apparently there are dollar signs in their eyes too.

Michael Moore and his anti-American film distributors are hoping to cash in to the tune of millions of dollars and also change U.S. politics. One British paper noted that “Moore hopes that it will bring down the U.S. government.”

So why are mainstream movie theaters involved in promoting a political advertisement that defames our military, insults our troops and attempts to undermine the public’s support for the War on Terror?

Why are movie theaters showing political propaganda that should be governed by Federal Elections Commission regulations on campaign finance?

*** HOW TO FIGHT BACK *** *** AGAINST MICHAEL MOORE ***

Move America Forward – the national organization working to support our troops and the war on terrorism – has compiled contact information for the leading movie executives in the business.

If you don’t want to see them promoting anti-American propaganda then tell these executives so directly.

Time is short – we must act now to have our voices heard in time to make a difference.

Help us get messages from millions of Americans sent to these film industry executives. Tell others who would be equally outraged by this anti-American movie to visit http://www.MoveAmericaForward.org and join our efforts.

MORE COMMENTS BY AND ABOUT MICHAEL MOORE AND HIS FILM “FAHRENHEIT 9/11”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not ‘insurgents’ or ‘terrorists’ or ‘The Enemy.’ They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow – and they will win.”

-- Michael Moore in his message posted on his website, April 14, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fahrenheit 9/11 was described as “incredibly superficial and misleading treatment at times.”

-- Lou Lumenick, New York Post

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“It’s representative of the fact that Michael Moore doesn’t always give the whole story and he’s a master of the misleading.”

-- Congressman Mark Kennedy (Minnesota)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the British newspaper, The Guardian:

“Moore was unequivocal about his desire to do everything in his power to help oust President George Bush in this November’s elections.

‘We thought, We cannot leave this to the Democrats this time to f**k it up and lose.’

[Responding to reports that some in the Disney Corporation found the movie unacceptably political and would not therefore distribute the film, Moore said]:

“I won’t let that happen and neither will Harvey Weinstein. People will see this film by hook or crook. I will get this out if it means breaking the law or committing an act of civil disobedience.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moore has already defamed the passengers who were on board the airplanes hijacked on September 11th:

“The kind of people who fly in airplanes want someone else to clean up their mess; that’s why they let hijackers take the plane.

“The passengers on September 11 were scaredy-cats, because they were mostly white.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“With Moore's customary blend of humor and horror, "Fahrenheit 9/11" accuses the Bush camp of stealing the 2000 election, overlooking terrorism warnings before September 11 and fanning fears of more attacks to secure Americans' support for the Iraq war.”

-- From the cable television network, CNN

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During the presidential primaries, Michael Moore referred to George W. Bush as, among other things, a "deserter.”

Even ABC's Peter Jennings – hardly a fan of President Bush – condemned Moore’s characterization of Bush as a ‘deserter.’ "That’s a reckless charge not supported by the facts.”

Hahaha - thanks for bringing the smile to my face.

When one of the press spokespersons for Regal entertainment said they weren't sure what they were going to do, I emailed him the Hezbollah stories and asked if it was really that hard of a decision to make?

When terrorists say 'this movie helps advance our agenda' does Regal normally say 'well then, let's show it?'

Let him show his little propaganda, no one who isn't already a dyed-in-the-wool Leftist will think anything of it.
Michael Moore is not going to be changing anyone's mind, especially anyone with a modicum of common sense.

That's one way to look at it. Another way is to consider that every dollar spent to promote Michael Moore is a dollar not ending up in a Democratic campaign fund.

And as with Kerry, they can promote him all they want, it won't change who he is. Frankly, I think the more of Michael Moore (and Kerry) the nation gets, the less it will want.

Only time will tell if the people are really as dumb as we are made out to be. If we are, then the discussion is moot, anyway.

How much are you being paid by Moore's publicists to so obsessively promote his evil, treasonous and subversive un-and-anti-American lies here? You aught be ashamed of yourself -- or institutionalized! Those are your choices.

Brian have you ever taken any anger management courses?

Hey, TV - you sounded off 100% like I think. PLUS, gotta love your screen name, LOL!

I don't plan on ever watching his perverted movie. He should be dropped somewhere in the middle of Saudi Arabia. The worst part will do. Give the guy something to worry about.

With hope, justice and accuracy, one can only hope for Moore to be "Tango Uniform", as soon as possible, before he can pollute "any-moore"....

Brian, relax.

We all post stupid articles so that the rest of us here at FR can ridicule them and make fun of the stupidity of some people/things. Michael Moore-related items fall into these categories.

Michael Moore says it is a "documentary" but then says today on TV that it is at "op-ed" piece. Which is it, Michael?

Michael Moore -- still believe he is involved with the Nick Berg fiasco. I think he was paid by Moore to go and imbed himself to get footage in Iraq. Moore has blood on his hands. If only someone who knows the truth would speak out against Moore.

<< Brian, relax. >>

Given that I am the most relaxed man I have ever known, in no hurry to get there and with nothing to do once I arrive, I welcomed your post in that it stirred me to read back through this thread to discover whatever it was I posted that provoked you into projection of your stress on to me.

And I of course discovered that, as usual, I hadn't actually said anything. :) -- B A [Bush is!]

Excuse me but aren't these your comments? Looks like you need to relax to me.

This all is nothing that an indictment for espionage wouldn't cure.

Then seize all copies of the film as evidence.......

"Since we are the customers of the American movie theatres it is important for us to speak up loudly and tell the industry executives that we don’t want this misleading and grotesque movie being shown at our local cinema"

all you are doing is making moore a marter to the left, just give him enough rope and he will hang himself, don't give him a cause to scream censorship

The overwhelming sentiment here was one should reserve comment about the Passion until seeing it. That is no longer the sentiment because those that advocated a certain principle before now no longer believe in that principle.

In other words, it was never about principle. It almost never is.

Is The Passion about current politics?

And this is relevant to the point in what way? At least you admit that to you it was never about principle.

It is all about principles. The fact that you don't (or will not) see that is very telling.

I think I see your problem. You don't have a clue as to how context effects which principle is relevant in a given situation. Such rigidity keeps one forever mired in self doubt. You have my sympathy.

Translation: If I like it, principle no longer matters, meaning that it never did.

If you agree with this you ought to put it in practice.

In other words reason is to be used before seeing Moore's movie but one had to go see the Passion and discount all of the negative publicity before that one opened. Principle without consistency is not principle.

No. In other words; the criticism of The Passion was transparently baseless and obviously unfairly biased. The criticism of MM's trash is based on what MM himself has said it will contain and those contents are blatantly fraudulent as well as the fact that his previous movies were blatantly fraudulent whereas nothing of the sort can be said of any Mel Gibson movie.

You are being inconsistent by suggesting that the same priniciple should apply to both while trying to pass yourself off as intelligent.
