I just got 'The Kerry Kit' from MoveOn.org

Mine came in the mail today......

Have you seen what MoveOn is sending out? Clearly Soros' big bucks are being spent on a first class marketing tool.

It contains a DVD, a (small) Kerry/Edwards Sticker, two articles, Kerry's liberal voting record, Kerry's (outlandish) promises and instruction cards on how to spread the word on the 'real John Kerry'.

The DVD contains footage from the upcoming documentary on Kerry by George Butler 'Going Upriver: the Long War of John Kerry'. (Does this movie have film that Kerry himself shot in Vietnam?)

The articles praising Kerry are by David Kusnet, speechwriter for Clinton '92-94 and David Corn of The Nation magazine.

Those who get the kits are instructed to have a dinner party & invite friends to view the DVD and then get them to order their own 'Kits' and do the same....also to email everyone they know to order their own 'Kerry Kit.

While it says the kit is 'not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee' wouldn't Kerry have to authorize the use of the Butler film if he gave his own film to Butler?

Also the Kit is Called 'The KERRY KIT" so it is clearly promoting Kerry.

The BASIC FACTS about John Kerry:

1. Some people conscientiously supported the Vietnam war. Others conscientiously opposed it. John Kerry is trying to have it both ways.

2. As a Senator, John Kerry has been a complete dud, with a 75% absenteeism record, and no major legislative initiatives to his credit. He is only distinguished by belonging to the murderer's row of Serbophobic Senators (along with his "good friend" Joe Biden), and being bought and paid for by the Albanian lobby.

3. As a Presidential candidate, John Kerry is bought and paid for by George Soros, the international financial manipulator, arch-Serbophobe, Christian-hater, Israel-hater, and "gay rights" advocate, and destroyer and looter of entire countries.

Based on these facts, there is NO REASON to vote for John Kerry!!!! Even most of the "progressives" who are supporting him would find themselves in hot water if he were elected, as would the Rest of Us!

Sorry - Urban Legend

In particular, the Post Office is NOT obligated to deliver "bricks for Jerry" or other large objects unless the business reply form says "Business Reply Label" (note that last word: that's the thing that is checked).
Delivery fails if the intended recipient refuses to pay for the shipment, and he is entitled to refuse without penalty.

It is also possible for the recipient to restrict in advance use of business reply forms by weight: if the item is endorsed for weight up to 'n', the post office doesn't have to even attempt delivery of overweight items.

I've tried finding the rules for the different organization rules, FEC site is typical government jargon like the tax code!

I did find info on a liberal site, basically how they skirt the law. This is from bushout.tv : (the typos are theirs, not mine I'd fix it but after going to the site, need to take a shower ASAP!)

MoveOn.org (501(c)(4) educational organization) is a grassroots advocacy group can loby for legislation. It is legally separate from the MoveOn PAC and the MoveOn Voter Fund.

MoveOn PAC (PAC, affiliated with MoveOn). The MoveOn PAC primarily funnels grassroots money to Democratic candidates in close races.

MoveOn Voter Fund (527, affiliated with MoveOn). The MoveOn Voter Fund's strategy is to play anti-Bush ads in swing states early and often. The Voter Fund has raised nearly $10 million from its members, along with $5 million from George Soros and Peter Lewis.

This is on the bottom of the MoveOn.org website:

The MoveOn family of organizations consists of three entities. MoveOn.org, a 501(c)(4) organization, primarily focuses on education and advocacy on important national issues. MoveOn PAC, a federal PAC, primarily helps members elect candidates who reflect our values. And MoveOn.org Voter Fund, a 527 organization, primarily educates voters on the positions, records, views, and qualifications of candidates for public office.

There is a link to MoveOnPAC

BUT can MoveOn pay to send out the material from the MoveOnPAC?

Thanks, and we'll see about biohazard gear for missions like this in the future.

This does show you how these orgs are set up to cover every base.

The next step would be to find someone who has the patience to read the FEC legal stuff, and find out if the MoveOn PAC is allowed to borrow envelopes from any of the other MoveOn entities. Asking the FEC to investigate it is only going to get you a lot of waiting.

Here's the way I see it....MoveOn.org NOT MoveOnPAC is paying the postage because they are the return address so it is a violation for them to send it out!
