Liberal Meltdown in America: Flip-Offs, Road Rage & Violence by Kerry-ites (Your Experiences?)
AmericanInTokyo ^ | 29 August 2004 | AmericanInTokyo

There appears to have been a major shift in the last month in the U.S. presidential campaign from KERRY-IN-THE-LEAD to BUSH-IN-THE-LEAD.

And this, before the GOP Convention has really gotten underway.

It seems that Kerry supporters and Bush haters are becoming increasingly strident, stressed, psycopathic and perhaps even violent in some cases. Have you personally noticed this in your town and community?

.....Because of TeRAYyza's very public meltdown, the SwiftBoatVets, Unfit for Command's booming national sales, devastating Swiftee TV ads in battlegrounds states, and the Kerry slip in the polls?

Consider:

--A young Bush campaign supporter was sucker-punched yesterday at a Washington State political event by a Kerry supporter--right on national TV.

--Freepers report Kerry-ite "flip- offs" in traffic(middle finger salutes), increasingly desperate and irate liberal emotions, foul language, verbal abuse when they peacefully display pro-Swift Boat vet or anti-Kerry stickers on their cars.

--The national TV reporters and commentators who side with Kerry seem almost apoplectic on TV these days, babbling, whining, salivating and doing everything short of cursing or throwing ashtrays.

On this FR thread, kindly please related your own personal experience on cases of strange behavior by libs and Kerry supporters that you come across. It would help to know the "what", "when", "where" and "why", too. Perhaps there is a national sickness developing in over in the Hate Bush camp, as they see their lead evaporate and their chances of capturing the White House fade. They seem to have only have nasty, threatening and sometimes violent means to turn to now. Would you agree?

I've switched to taping signs to the iside of my side windows. On the passenger side I have a Kerry sign with the tagline "AlQaeda's Choice for America" small. Most viewers don't read the small print.

On my side, I have Choose Nov2: Soros or Security. Only GOP people get it and give me thumbs up. When those on my right read the AlQaeda message at stop lights, they get crazy, lots of middle fingers.

I got the messages from here

There have been several incidents reported in press (generally by columnists) that their pro-Kerry bumper stickers have been vandalized. I cannot verify the veracity of their whining complaints but they do discount that it happens to conservative bumper stickers as well.

The big clincher is that we have all seen the news articles on rabid leftists who torch SUVs at dealerships and homes. Never hear about a conservative doing this.

To the left, that/what you drive is as much a political statement as any sticker that you might put on your car.

I had my drivers-side window broken in my small, suburban community. The only thing I can think of is my Bush-Cheney 2004 sticker. I refuse to remove it, and will not be silenced.

That is exactly what some jackass tried to do to me on the road. Same way.

I've never seen anything like it. Heck, liberal scowls and pouting and an occasional middle finger have been no biggie for me, but recently they seem to really, really be pushing the envelope. I think they are certified mentally ill, since they still think Gore one, then they were shut up for nearly 2 years because they could not speak out and let off their steam as we were in a Time of War with massive support of the President. Now they finally have a chance, their escape valve for steam has been opened with Kerry, but then suddenly plugged up again once they see that he is slipping and our ads are doing so much damage, and the White House is slipping further and further into the distant horizon of their hopes.

Here is my experience: A couple days ago, I went into our local Vons in Bonita, CA (San Diego County). As I walked in, I noticed a Dem at the entrance, registering dumbocrats for Kerry/Edwards and some other local dim politico. What was curious to me (and something I had seen at another Vons here) was her registration table: an ironing board. I had wondered the first time I had seen it what that was supposed to mean, so on the way out the other day, I stared again. The young lady saw me, and asked if i wanted to register to vote and help defeat Bush. "No", I told her, "I am already a happily registered Republican". "However", I continued, "I am wondering about that ironing board. Is it supposed to mean something?"

The young lady replied that it was traditional...symbolic...that they could not afford to buy a table. "You see", she said, "Democrats are poor".

Flabbergasted, I pointed out to her that kerry was a very rich man.

"But I am poor", she replied.

Laughing now, I told her "Maybe Kerry can buy you a table, then!!" as I walked off to my car.

No fingers or anything, tho I am certain she was calling me a Biatch under her breath.

I'm not -sure- if it had anything to do with the "Kerry is bin Laden's man--BUSH IS MINE" sticker on my eeevil SUV, but a couple of weeks ago I was driving along and stopped at tghe video store to drop off a couple of DVDs. I rolled down my window and heard this thumping noise. I got out and saw that my right rear tire was flat as a pancake. And upon further inspection, the jagged gash was on the inside sidewall part of my tire--NOT on any part that actually touches the road. Work of a lib? I really don't know, but it made me wonder.

I have seen the intensity of their reactions growing too. A recent article by Charles Krauthammer touches on the root of the growing rift in the liberal space time continuum; the inability to understand the utterly impossible concept that they are about to be beaten by a President they consider to be an obvious idiot and failure in every respect, again.

They can't comprehend people liking George Bush or voting for him; indeed to most liberals this is the biggest no-brainer in the history of the universe. At first they think it must be the "lies and smears" of the Swift Vets. No, it must be the "tax cuts for the wealthy". Panicking, they conclude that half of American voters must be babbling, incoherent idiots! Gahhhh!!!

The Swift Vets merely chummed the water, the writing is on the wall for the S.S. Kerry now, and the libs can read it. I would say that the next couple of months are going to be quite fun and the schadenfreude extremely satisfying, but a cornered, desperate liberal (or a few million) is a very dangerous thing as it ponders the oncoming certainty of its demise.

My leftist neighbor simply refuses to talk about it anymore (Just like the mainstream media). She has gone into complete, meltdown denial. Yesterday, she wandered over and mentioned how great it was that the protesters in NY were really sticking it to "you republicans." I told her that I was for free speach and that I thought it was a good thing for middle-american swing voters to see the true face of the democratic party - not that fake patriotic face presented at the demo convention. I then asked her how anti-American, communist/anarchist rioting on the streets of NY is supposd to get people in Ohio to vote democratic.

She didn't answer, but the look on her face was a keeper when she realized how badly all this is going to look to average folks trying to make up their minds. Watch what you wish for...

If you have an OfficeMax or other well-stocked office supply
mega store nearby, go look for static-cling wall presentation sheets. They're white vinyl, hold on by
static, and can be placed inside windows, then peeled off
while your vehicle is unattended. The other option with
these is to covertly brush a bus, and have THEM carry your
message. All kinds of possibilities here....

Mine is pretty tame, but this guy road my tale all the way on this ramp and then pulled around me like a fool once he had the oppurtunity only to be sporting the sign of the devil himself;-)-Kerry/Edwards. He was practically weaving down the freeway and speeding. I can only figure my W in 2004 and Flush the Johns stickers had him in a tizzy. It was funny to watch, but I was worried for other motorists.

I never put bumper stickers on cars. Ever. Frankly, I think it's silly, as if anyone driving needs to know anything but "GET OUT OF MY WAY, IDIOT!"

Way back, in the days of "Arms are for Hugging", "No Nukes", and "Visualize World Peace", I wanted to get a bumper sticker that said:

"Discuss Complex Issues with Bumper Stickers"

But I figured the liberal pinheads I'd be targeting wouldn't get it, or worse - would say, "Like....YEAH, man."

I was going down the interstate with my "W04" sticker proudly displayed in my rear window. A guy with a Kerry sticker on his bumper went by, stuck his arm out his window, and held up 3 fingers as if to make a "W." I don't know if he was trying to apologize for being a Kerry supporter or just giving me the "secret sign" indicating who he really supports.

you just reminded me that there was some minor damage done to my vehicle as well--some liberal soccer mom is all I can figured since it happened in a Babies R Us parking lot. I keep my "Flush the Johns" sticker inside taped because I want to keep it after for a presidential scrapbook. Trying to keep things like this for posterity not knowing how history will be rewritten by the time I have grandkids.
