If our leaders are dictators, wouldn't Mr. Dyckman's article land him in prison?

Has anyone else noticed that the leftwing nutcases seem to have more access to the media than normal people?

This jackanapes consistently cites his own opinions as though they were facts. More evidence of lefty "intellect."

Michael Dukakis would have won too had he managed to show anger, or any other passion, at appropriate moments.

Hahahahahahah.

Who called Max Cleland unpatriotic? It seems only the Democrats affix this label to former Georgia Senator Max Cleland. Why are Democrats questioning Max Cleland's patriotism?

Someone needs to change Dykman's diaper. Perhaps Al Gore is available.

A "Barf Alert"? For this? For THIS??? This is one of the funniest items I have ever read! This piece is absolutely hilarious! Perhaps we need a "Split Your Sides Open in Laughter" alert...I know I can't stop the laughter!

Even if, as we see now, the competence is only an illusion.

It would be nice if he accused Bush of this gross incompetence with a little bit of actual facts besides "just because I said so"

"In December 2000, the Florida House of Representatives, in broad daylight, voted 79 to 41 to steal the 2000 presidential election"

Are they still recounting down there, or was this article written 3.5 years ago? Hard to think that this was the guys first argument in Florida. Sorta like, "Did you know that John Kerry was in Vietnam?"

The quickest way to a dictatorship is when the politicians declare that the rules they pass for us to obey don't apply to our elected leaders. When politicians believe that they and their continued hold on power are more important than showing even a basic respect for the truth the rule of law and legal system. When current laws are ignored or changed after the fact. Look at Clinton deciding that he was too important to bother telling the truth. Al Gore getting the Florida courts to throw out the election law and creating new rules that would assist Gore in changing the election results.

"A governor's record is rarely as complex as that of a member of Congress,..."

So Cynthia Mckinney had a more complicated job as congresswoman from Georgia than Jimmy Carter had as governor of Georgia. (Sorry, he DID run a state for a few years, after all.) I don't know what this guy is smoking but it can't be legal.

Our family continues to boycott the Communist Times and this is a perfect example why. As newspapers across the country wonder why their readership continues to decline, we'll just get our news from the Internet.

Though presumptively legal under the Constitution, that was a dictatorial act in light of the modern expectation that the people, not the politicians, elect the president.

Obviously Mr. Dykeman doesn't approve of elected representives acting like dictators. He only approves of dictators in black robes.
