Chris Matthews Continues Slide Toward Bottom
Accuracy In Media ^ | Aug 31, 2004 | Cliff Kincaid (blog)

Chris Matthews is "worried that MSNBC parent Microsoft might pull funding and shutter 'Hardball.' That would force Matthews to look for another berth - possibly on Fox." ...Matthews' contract reported has a provision saying he gets a job at NBC if MSNBC gets sold. It is reported by several sources that Rick Kaplan, who left CNN in the wake of the Tailwind scandal and now runs MSNBC, is a big backer (for whatever reason) of Matthews.

Donahue actually got much better ratings then Keith Olbermann.
Deborah Norville, she's got to go. I dont know she's on at 9. Then again, why is Greta on Fox.

Geraldo is terrible. He's been caught twice lying about his reporting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Fox got in trouble because of this.
Fox needs to get rid of Geraldo and Greta.

If Fox hires Matthews, my family and I will no longer watch Fox News. Mr. Matthews is reprehensible, there are no words that can describe how much we detest him.

Matthews on Fox?! God help us. With Geraldo, Juan and Gretta there already, there's enough sludge and plutonium in what could be a perfect martini! Fox does not need that many loudmouthed, snide, and interrupting snots to provide flattering contrast for its steady professionalism.

Maybe he should set his alarm clock ahead about ten hours and join the Today show. He could call his segment "Softball" and be thankful that he has a job at all after the continuation of an already steep decline in ratings for liberal "mainstream" television news shows.

:') So, MSNBC then? ;'D
George W. Bush will win reelection by a margin of at least ten per cent.

He's gone.... the old Chris Matthews....is gone. the new guy is a hack.

Yep. That was never more abundantly clear than when he dumped al;l over Michelle Malkin. When Michelle made reference to reports that one of Kerry's Purple Heart injuries was likely the accidental result of a mortar launched by Kerry himself ("self-inflicted"), Matthews went on a red-faced tirade accusing Malkin of saying that Kerry "shot himself" to get a Purple Heart. It was bizarre TV.

Matthews made such an incredible fool of himself that I can't bear to see his face anymore. I would certainly not watch his show even if it was on Fox and sandwiched between Hannity & Colmes and Neil Cavuto.

Why would Fox want him? To drag their ratings down? Chrissy's hopes for failing upward are foolish. When he's shoved off MSNBC he will have to be satisfied with his McLaughlin Group ripoff show.
