You had to know Upchuck Hagel would be on somewhere after his negative comments about Iraq. He wants to run for President in 2008. Good luck Chuck. You'll need it.

Yep.

A very poor line-up plus they do not seemed poised to discuss the issue of the day, e.g., Rathergate. I think we otherwise know what the line-up will say.

Thume-Daschle seems to be about the only show with any possiblities.

Good morning, Alas. This may be the weekend when we hear the firming up of the themes that the DNC hopes will defeat the President in November. At some point they need to find a few and stick to them. The newest as far as I can tell is the GW is going to reinstitute the draft.

Great analysis, everyone! You extracted the salient points with only the lineup for a guide. Amazing!

McCain will want to talk about his special interest, and effort, in getting Nader on the Florida ballot.

Of course, there's always time for sneaky, snide responses to questions about Bush, which the press will delight in misinterpreting and exaggerating.

The biggest talking point "Iraq is a Beirut not Vietnam." It will be Iraq 24/7 from the MSM from here on out in an effort to bring down W. The problem is Kerry has no credibility at all on Iraq. Of course, that does not matter to the MSM.

I wish Dan Rather would go back on O'Reilly.

O'Reilly: If you forge documents are you a forger?
Rather: Well, no I wouldn't go that far Bill.
O'Reilly: (incredously) If you forge documents your not a forger?!? Really?
Rather: Some people might make a mistake and forge them once or twice, but I wouldn't give them that label, no.
O'Reilly: But these documents were forged with the intent to bring down a sitting President in a time of war.
Rather: I'd like to break that story if it's true.
O'Reilly: If they turn out to be forged you wouldn't label the person who forged them a forger? Or at least a criminal?
Rather: No, Bill I wouldn't. I mean, you have to look at the seriousness of these allegations. There are questions that need to be answered. The criminal here may turn out to be Bush.
O'Reilly: (punches Rather)

Don't count Jon Kyl out.....he could slip in a Rather-gate comment to Schieffer on SeeB.S.

Just before the ending of C-Span Journal this morning, Anna Greenberg, Kerry fast-talking spokeswoman, was asked what kind of polls the Kerry campaign would be taking from now until the election. Her answer? "Oh, we won't be releasing any polls." HAHA
