Thune: It would be nice if once in a while Daschle would be a rubber stamp for South Dakota.

I'm lovin' this.

We have to tie John Kerry and his betrayal of the US and the horror of the aftermath of our loss of confidence in Vietnam did to us,

It's almost like the Dems are being led to this strategy, and it is a failed one.

Once they come out and embrace the position that Iraq is Vietnam...the Republican machine could blast them. It would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Are they so easily fooled into taking up this position?

I hope every voter in SD watched this interview. Their vote would be a no-brainer. Dashle's time is over.

Thune kicked his butt for most of the hour but the MSM'ers will have just enough tom babble to spin their tales. Anyone with 1/2 a brain in SD will vote little Tom out big time.

Daschle's having a hard time defending why certain judicial nominees haven't been given an up or down vote.

Ok, here's a place where you should be able to research background info on Little Tommy's mentor:
James G. Abourezk, Papers 1970-1983

And here

And here

Thanks for all that......I'm still waiting to see and hear it here. Your transcript gives me pointers on what to look for!! Lately, I've been avoiding Russert's show, but today I make an exception.

NOBODY ever points out that it was the original JFK, a DEMOCRAT, that first got us into Vietnam.

Or that Lyndon Johnson escalated it.

Johnson and MacNamara tried to call the shots instead of letting the generals and troops fight it.

Richard Nixon pulled the troops out and brought them home........but it was Kerry who lied to Congress about them and set the scene for our troops to be maligned. The circle is being completed now, and it is TRUTH time.

I know. But I am very much certain that Bill Kristol is dead right. Kerry just became Dean and they are going to focus on breaking America's will to win. This can countered by raising the story of John Kerry and his collaboration with Vietnam and how the Viet-Cong held on because of the anti-war movement. Grabbing defeat out of the jaws of victory.

The swift boat people brought out this point. But as some point this story has to resonate loudly. Nothing is as good as winning.

Giving Iraq to the terrorists because they are fighting is definitely wrong for America. We have to give folks the image of what these idiots are proposing. Its freaky that Brit would stipulate that we should get out. Ghod!
