>True, but I sometimes wonder if these guys have any values whatsoever absent expedience, getting reelected and pyramiding their politics into millions like dashole did <

I guess I'm more cynical than you. I think they do indeed have "values". They want to change the direction in which this country is headed; they want to destroy the family, they want to vilify Christianity as a "religion of hate" and they want to keep millions of poor Americans trapped in the role of victim, so they are permanently dependent on the Democratic Party.

There are undoubtedly a number that believe everything you just stated but there are also those rats that simply have an emotional response to everything that happens and little more, I know a bunch like that.

Tim nmust be trying to buck up Daschle's flagging campaign. I don't see this a being a winner for Thune.

Yup, but Thune came back to hammer the little troll.

Dashle almost started crying......what a disgrace for South Dakota.

RE: I just saw a clip of Kerry making a speech somewhere. He says "when he gets in a fighting mood, toward the end of September and the beginning of October," you know what happens. His campaign advisors must be cringing.

You when I saw that too I immediately thought, "The way this guy is acting sure makes the Swifties look that much more dead on and I'll be there's some dems now shaking their head and thinking the same thing!"

I saw the Thune vs. Daschle debate. Thune held his own against both Russert and Dashle. At one point I thought Dashle was so frustrated that he could cry. If you watch the rerun don't miss the end where they shake hands. They were both very angry looking.

Weren't there something like 2000 overvotes in 2000? Wouldn't Bush have won otherwise? Can't remember the details.

It was a "forgotten" ballot box that just happened to have enough Gore votes in it to turn the tide.

I missed the shows this am and now playing catch up. I saw your post and I have never heard that Cheney donates his deferred compensation to a hospital. This needs to be given more coverge in this political climate.

Rangel and his fellow Dems put legislation in the house to start up a draft. Then they blamed teh Republicans for it as an election year ploy. Trying to hype fear about a draft THEY started. Unbelievable...

"Either he will either embarrass the Right with his loudmouth, know-nothing bombast. Or, he will sellout the Right in a bid to expand his audience with middle-of-the-roaders."

Either/Or? Both/And

Did you hear Tim say President Clinton? (living in the past)

%%%%%

Yes, I heard that, and I was trying to figure out why Timmy's brain played that trick on him. The best answer I came up with was that Timmy recognizes that W is a strong, competent President, so he reverted to the name of the person that he ALWAYS referred to as "President."

Does anyone remember the phrase "Mr Clinton" ever being used between 1992 and now, by MSM talking heads?

Edwards will look like a wet-behind-the-ears kid when Cheney is done with him.

I agree. Cheney debated a far more impressive opponent in Joe Lieberman and basically dominated the discussion.

Silky Pony thinks he can go mano-a mano with Da Man because he has been able to snooker a bunch of backwoods jurors and half-baked common pleas judges. Boy is he in for a lesson.
