HMMMMmm I just thought of something... If we switch to a national sales tax 15 million illegal aliens WILL be taxes....hmmm
There should be penalization of employers for hiring illegals. That should be step one. No job hiring of illegals then they would be no jobs for illegals to flee to.
I understand even on Long Island, the land of the rich and famous, where Hannity resides as well as many other news icons; illegals stand on certain street corners each morning and wait for a construction boss to hire them for the day. They are paid decent wages and the results are a job well done. Everyone knows this is occurring, but turn their heads and only pay lip service to the crime of illegal immigrant hiring as they witness and report on this daily occurrence. For how would those hypocrites get their homes and pools cleaned and their grounds landscaped?
Penalize the employers. Then scratch your head, if an employer; and say where can I get an American worker who will show up at 6 in the morning and everyday thereafter to do the same job.

Great, lets jump back to the conditions of India so we can have hordes of starving 'bodies'. As Rumsfeld has proven in Iraq, it's not the number of bodies that counts, but the brains, cunning and resolve.
What you advocate is the complete surrender of Western Civilisation values.
Our immigration policy should be like that of recruiting for basketball or football players: look for those that will advance our country... not let the failures of the world decide to sink us in a pit of third-world animism.

I have received about 45 letters back from my representatives regarding (illegal) immiration. I even received a letter from Bush where he calls diversity a wonderful thing. All three of my representatives are Republican but my concerns are falling on deaf ears. They're going to do what they darn well please knowing full well that almost 80% of Americans want tighter border controls, less immigration and no amnesty.
You might also note that unless we place a moratorium on immigration we will be "outbred" over a period of years. I believe it is the census bureau that has those numbers on their website.
So, I'm fighting it but I'm losing.

Having said that, we'd better solve the ILLEGAL ALIEN problem ASAP or none of the rest will matter.
Been there and done that.......my policy now is to make it pretty clear to anyone who chose not to listen, they are NOT welcome at my door in case real serious events start to occur (and they will). My personal guess is that one day the fedgov checks will stop going out to all these folks who have no skills, can't and won't speak the language, etc. Wonder what kind of mood they'll be in after a few weeks?
