In the last 2 hours, Bush has fallen from 55.3 to 51.3 on the winner takes all market.
On the vote share market, Bush is still up 3% on Kerry.
Anyone seeing any news out there that would account for this?

We do not need folks who are "Day Traders" on the IEM or Tradesports posting it here every ten minutes. How about once per day at the same time everyday? I might not be quite as dramatic as everyone is trying to make it.
NOTE: Reacting this way to the political markets is the same way Kerry reacts to national security. It isn't pretty.
To: tomahawk
Since the IEM has only 3000 registered traders, and most are university professors, my guess is you are seeing a reaction to the slew of polls that show the race tied today. This is exact effect the liberal national media wants by falsely showing that the race is tied.

This is great. Last chance for a clean arbitrage between IEM and tradesports.
N.B. be SURE to use TS' Bush-Wins-Popular-Vote contract, NOT the Bush-Wins-Prez contract.

The Dow is zooming. Oil is crashing. My stocks are doing well. Oil now below $50 per barrel.

You know what wins elections? Not electronic markets. People getting off their asses, and helping the party and voting win elections. Everything else is just noise. I trade for a living, so manipulation is just part of the bag of tricks that various individuals and institutions use to separate you from your money. Quit sweating over this meaningless stuff.
