My guess is that Bradenton understands all about incompetent judges. Carlie Bruschia's murderer was out walking the streets when his rear end should have been sitting in prison, thanks to a judge who doesn't think people can be endangered by a judge's crummy decisions. Wish we could get rid of Greer!

I recall reading on or about Oct. 15, 2003, that Michael R. Schiavo had to give the final go-ahead to remove the feeding tube, which he so proudly proceeded to do until temporarily halted by Terri's Law.

This year, we Floridians endured four hurricanes, a particularly nasty presidential election, the Terri Schiavo saga, a string of senseless shootings, and more stress and worry than anyone from any state deserves. By year's end, we had the collective energy level of a soggy boot.

Just a quick note--I don't think the news outlets have picked this up yet.
Florida's 2nd District Court of Appeal denied the Schindlers' appeal of Judge Greer's ruling in which he denied them a new trial on Terri's "wishes" based on Pope John Paul II's March statement with regard to feeding tubes.
Damn.
Many, many conservatives don't think the state, church or courts should have any say in an end of life issue. Please don't presume to speak for all conservatives.
The misconception many folks have with Terri's plight is that this is not an end of life issue. Terri is not dying, nor terminally ill.
Physician assisted suicide was passed by the voters in Oregon by a narrow margin. Euthanasia proponents would like state sponsored euthanasia nationwide. This is the crux of this issue.
Liberty IS A CONSERVATIVE CONCERN.
Liberty is a human concern. The state has immense raw power over an individual's life, liberty, and property. And nowhere else are our constitutional rights and freedoms under such relentless and subtle attack.
Terri Schiavo, like you and I, have guaranteed rights and liberties and freedoms. The constitution and Bill of Rights provide these, unless we commit a crime.
Terri's dilemma begins with Florida legislators changing the statutes, and continues with the judiciary interpreting the laws, instead of following the laws.
The Natural Law has changed, and this by virtue of judicial tyranny.
NUTRITION AND WATER ARE NOT MEDICAL TREATMENT.
Exactly. So, contact the legislature and convince them, debate the issues, explain, and educate that nutrition and hydration are basic necessities of life needed by all in order to survive. Withholding nutrition and hydration is euthanasia.
The law must be changed.
And while you are at it, explain to them how their law has created the atmosphere of chaos in that people are fearful of going to hospital for treatment.

A poster said that this was a conservative web site and I addressed their view that this wasn't a conservative issue. LIfe is a conservative concern since conservatives are supposed to be pro-life, EXCEPT FOR JUDGE GREER and the sham Pinellas GOP Party who endorsed him. They endorsed FORCED EXIT.

GREER is just a puppet. Who's controlling the strings? He's too incompetent and jaded in my opinion to be Chief Judge over us all! He's too incompetent imo to be a Circuit Civil Judge.
I'll be under the radar and freepmail people I ALREADY KNOW if it's about Greer's potential power grab in 2006.

As sick as it is, that is what the people of FL voted into office. They seem to admire George W. Greer. Perhaps he has done "favors" for a lot of folks there over the years.

You know there are a lot of people who are "prolife" in theory, but in practice, as with an elderly relative of their own, they don't particularly mind "exit protocols" to get the inconvenient person out of the way. That's why so many Republicans in FL endorse the killing of poor Terri, just to get her out of the way so Michael R. Schiavo can lead a "normal life." Shame on those FL voters!
Good point, there is no reason to expect the public to "ever get it," as the liberals used to say.

“We forgot to put Santa on the visitation list,” Schindler said (Terri's dad) he told the nurse in jest. “It is typical what’s happening, people have no idea. At a certain point, enough is enough.”
Of the court, Schindler said “They gave the win to the team that didn’t show up.”

You ask about removed documents. Which documents are those? The ones from the University of Florida that disappeared? Judge Baird's daughter is at the U of F in some capacity. He's to Greer what Goebels was to Hitler. imo.
