"Forsake The Troops" ^

Posted on 02/23/2005 12:43:51 PM PST by mhking

Forsake The Troops started off as Citizens Against the Troops, an organization founded in the Summer of 2004. We currently have fifteen members in our organization, spanning all across this country. Our founder, and leader's name is Scott Vogel, who currently resides in Southern New Jersey. Other members have their bios available as well. To view those, click here.

Our position is that as it stands currently, the compensation, benefit, and retirement packages that our active duty and retired military personnel get is outrageous, and undeserved. The American taxpayer is supporting the military enlistee, when said person made the decision to become a walking, talking target for Uncle Sam, and "Yuk Yuk" Bush. They made the choice to leech off of the American taxpayer, therefore we must do our part as taxpayers to recoup our funds, or at the very least stop this obscene abuse of our taxes.

Our intention is not to inspire, suggest, or joke about violence towards the military; rather, our goal is to eventually approach Congress about completely revamping the military pay structure. Despite common opinion, we are not a hate group, that we do not condone acts of violence, or any illegal acts towards military facilities or personnel.

As there are 50 states in the union, I would hardly think that a membership of 15 spans the country.

Bridges span rivers, and only touch the water in a few places, if at all. 13 kalifornians and 2 taxachusetts senators would span most of the continental US, would it not? ;-P

Look what I got when I clicked on the link:

The IP address you are accessing from, 172.000.000.00 , has been banned from accessing this website.

Connections are not accepted from the following:

Users of America Online

Most users of Comcast Cable

Most military installations

Any proxy servers detected by our security software

If you are not a user of any of the above providers, this ban probably is directed against you personally, or someone using this IP address. Your IP may have also been banned if there was a match in the SORBS security database.

Access will probably never again be given to anyone using this IP address, and access will never be granted to users of the above named ISP. If you're seeing this screen.....face it, you're screwed.

Any questions may be directed to operations@smishosting.com, but there's no guarantee it'll even be read. Your ilk isn't worth our time.

"Hope you're not offended but it makes me laugh."

Me, too, to tell the truth. Thirty years ago, the pop-left ran the world, now they are reduced to this feces-smearing delinquency.

fifteen members, eh?

Not including myself, I have 69 members in my RKBA troll-paving clique, which was also founded in Summer 2004... safe bet we are also more active, per person, than these "Forsake The Troops" turds.

God alone knows how many hundreds you have on your JD and BC pinglists.

just keeping things in perspective.

My brother is a single E-3, and I believe his base pay is something like $17,500 a year. He could flip burgers at McDonalds and make more money than that and for much less work. He does it because he really likes his job and likes the military.

It's a good thing he's single. I don't know how junior enlisted who are married and have children can even survive on such little pay. Heck, my cousin is an E-7 with a wife and children and I make a lot more than he does.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that our troops deserve every penny they get, and more.

Hee hee, eventually they'll ban every isp in the free world. That'll show us, won't it.

No way!

Why? Why would someone want to do that?

But if they did:
It's a crime to impersonate an officer I think?
Trespassing maybe an angle?
Duress?
I'm sure there is something that can be done against such malicious acts.

Nity nite time for me. It's near 2400. bye till tomorrow.

That's what I was thinking. 15 Michael Mooore/ The Swimmer types could probably span all 50 states.

They are the latest thing in edgy Lenny Bruce inspired shock humor; the latest thing for 1965, that is.

Hoaxer targets army wife with false death call "Military police described the suspected hoaxer as being 6-feet, 1-inch tall and about 180 pounds with black or brown hair and a pale complexion. He was reported to be driving a blue or green pickup truck with chrome wheels, oversized tires and a Georgia license plate."

The address "8939 S. Sepulveda Blvd" in 90045 is nearly
in the landing glide path of LAX; like by 1500 feet.

Mr. Vogel resides on his isolated, secured compound within the woods of South Jersey.

That stood out as ridiculous.

My guess, idiot punk or punks craving attention*, and possibly harvesting email addresses (as suggested by Military family member).

* Which can take various forms, some unsought and unpleasant.
