Woman convicted of rape

In a landmark case a 23-year-old woman has been convicted by a Bergen court for the rape of a 31-year-old man.

The woman was sentenced to nine months in prison and ordered to pay NOK 40,000 (USD 6,385) to the man.

The incident occurred on Jan. 4 last year in a Bergen apartment. The man testified that he fell asleep on a sofa and woke up to find the woman performing oral sex on him.

The woman eventually admitted sexual contact but claimed that it was voluntary and that the man was willing and smiled. The case has attracted attention and is the first time a Norwegian woman has been charged with raping a man.

"Ever heard of morning wood? My ex-wife used to take great pleasure in waking me up in such a manner. She would be well into the act and my body would react to the stimulation long before I was awake"

And, Uh, why she is your ex-wife?

Thank you! Now I need a sedative!

The image of Ned Beatty squealing like a pig with Bubba the Love Monkey violating him sends chills down my spine every time I think of it.

You can't rape a man.

If this monster tried to oral me, it would have to be rape:

Of course, I am happily married and I will allow no woman other than my wife to perform anything sexual on me. As Joseph did with Potifer's wife, I would be outta there faster than greased lightning.

There was a reason the guy was sacking out on the sofa!

Morning wood is wood for a reason. If the morning wood expressed why it was morning wood, that could be the reason for the split.

According to court testimony, the January 2004 sexual assault took place when the 31-year-old man, whose name was also withheld, fell asleep on a sofa in the apartment the woman shared with her boyfriend.

In court, he testified that he woke up because the woman was performing oral sex on him. The woman at first denied any sexual contact, but later changed her story, admitting contact but claimed it was consensual.

The court said a legal amendment from 2000 defines such undesired sexual contact as rape, and it was being punished as such.

The man said the incident left him with insomnia and virtually no interest in sex. He also described it as a breach of trust between friends that crushed his faith in people.

You can't rape a man.

I know of two 'men' who got raped. One was this guy i personally knew, who i have to say was quite small in stature. Well, there was this party and he was talking to some girl (who was considerably taller and bigger than he was), and they were chatting by the fireplace while everyone else was outside. The thing is she jumped him, pinned him, and basically started having her way with him. He was only rescued when people streamed back into the den and quite literally rescued him. The guy could do nada since the girl had been too big for him, and he was quite fortunate to get away. And he did not want to have intercourse with her at all. The thing about the penis is that it will react to stimuli, even when the stimuli is stemming from an undesirable source (and the vice-versa can also happen where stimuli from a desired source does nothing ....much to the chagrin of the poor lad ....although i think that is normally due to factors like age and stress). Anyways, in many cases a guy can be 'raped' even when he doesn't want to have sex. And his penis will become turgid. The only scenario that would cause the penis to remain flaccid would be one that contains a certain element of danger or bodily harm.

The second case has to do with a security guard at a certain girls boarding school. The only reason this particular one is a rape is because the girls were basically roughing him up and hitting him so hard them damaged his privates. I guess it started out quite well for the security guard (a bunch of boarding school students all over you), but it ended up with him in the hospital (and fired).

The thing is a guy can be raped. However it is obviously a rare occurence, particularly when contrasted with female rape. And I'd say the psychological impact is different .....i.e the first guy was made fun of, and i believe even today he is still made fun of (i was with him in a bowling alley about 6months ago and everyone was just chuckling at the dude). And the guy was actually laughing at the whole scenario. If it was a girl who had been raped no one would be laughing. And i am sure she would not at all find any mirth in that situation. And i am pretty certain that several guys in my group, me included, would have 'visited' the rapist and had a nice 'chat' with him (let's say the rapist would be able to raise his flag full mast for well over a decade after we finished 'talking' to him. We would have 'rehabilitated' him with far greater efficacy than any jail in the US). So i guess that the psychological impact between the two is lightyears apart.

But in a nutshell ....a guy can be raped. It is just a far rarer occurence than the more conventional definition of rape.

From the sign, does that mean it is okay between 12 am and 12 pm?

Only with the first two. The third, however, would apparently be prohibited at any time.

I'll have to add that one to my vocabulary.

Now you'll find new enjoyment in the movie "Dr. Strangelove".
