Marriott at this moment they have made the search area larger…nothign yet….dont know if it based upon a confession or just a random search…….police has moved EVERYONE to the Marriott hotel not allowed to be close…they have seen the technical team (TOD) and the FBI that indicates that their is something but what no one knows….all press is being moved away front he area……their is an indication that they don’t want anyone to see what is happening and that maybe they found something and don’t want the press tehir…that is all they have to say…everythign indicates that they may have found something…all local and Int’l press is being moved away from the area.

they moved press far far away….they are closing off everywhere so the police can make the investigation…..another team has arrived…police…in blue coveralls…they dont know who they are….alto of police force to close off the place closing with yellow “no trespassing” tape…their is no access to the MAIN search area….they dont know if a body was found yet but unfortunately they thin that is the case…….THEIR INTERVIEWING SOME ON NOW: he was their in the morning early and they saw some “strange” things and the authority immediately took over…i dont know if the guy is in the construction area

Also in that area there was found earlier in the day a pair of women’s underwear and a number of condoms. However, this is a lovers lane type area. Not sure what to make of this last fact yet.

However, the stories now coming from the arrested group would likely place evidence in this area of the island.

From ABC News, Aruban Police Launch New Search for Teen

Nearly three dozen police officers launched a search Tuesday along a beach near the Marriott Hotel for Natalee Holloway after a former security guard alleged that one of three youths seen with the missing teenager had lied to police.

Antonius “Mickey” John said he was detained in a cell adjacent to one of the young men, 21-year-old Deepak Kalpoe, and that the two spent time talking.

John, 30, said Kalpoe told him that he and his 18-year-old brother, Satish, and their 17-year-old Dutch friend never went back to the Holiday Inn the morning of May 30, the day Holloway disappeared on this Dutch Caribbean island during a student trip.

Kalpoe said they instead dropped the Dutch youth and Holloway off near the Marriott, located just north of the Holiday Inn, on the same beach.

Police cordoned off a three-block area near the Marriott, and government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg confirmed it was yet another search for the 18-year-old from Mountain Brook, Ala., High School.

************* Update: According to Canal 90, one of the 3 boys told the cops that they burried Natalie at the Fisherman’s Huts and that the FBI has two dogs on the scene.

OK looks like the reports of finding a body were premature
and as I suspected, Joran's webpage is now unaccessible, heck it might even be evidence if you think about it

however Geraldo, if one can believe Geraldo or his sources had some interesting things to say about Mr. Van Der Sloot

a) the guy hasn't got a driver's licence and has a hot car already to go - arrogant

b) he is known as an island romeo

c) more importantly, he is known as having anger management problems,

d) here is the kicker - he was involved in taping of the gang banging of a 14 year old girl (Paris Hilton have we got the guy for you)

so that the working theory is we have a Robert Chambers type of situation, rough sex that got out of control and he panicked

d believe it - the source overheard one of the Aruban cops say how can I do this to this kid (Joran) he's my best friend's son

I suspected not just because the father was a justice official but the fact that the cops may have known these boys and their parents and even the security guards would be problematic

This is one of the fears of all parents. You can raise your children and help them develop; however, they must go out on their own and make it in the world. One bad decision and one evil careless person can destroy a life. ....that's how I lost my eighteen year old daughter.

She decided to ride her bike home on the dark two lane street instead of waiting for me to pick her up. Just happened to be when a careless drunk young man jumpED into his truck to drive home. She was killed two blocks from our house and one block from his. Not only did it ruin our family, but also his. SAD SAD SAD........

Hang em HIGH..they r guilty as hell and it is about time someone in the LSM had the balls to report the RUMORS going on on that damn island! If the Aruban 'authorities' can not address the FACTS..then they deserve the RUMORS..the poor dead girl is probably hidden in the basement of the Van Der Sloots palasial home..Can we get a search warrant please? I am so sorry. I read these stories like yours and it helps me stay sober it's been 15 years. By the Grace of God, I only harmed myself when I drank and drove. Today, I still suffer from an accident I had. I will pray for you and your family's healing. You know possumdawg I don't often post about my daughters death, and I really question myself on doing so this time. Why I did post it was to show how the bad decisions we make can ruin our lives and sometimes the life of others.

Certainly this young man had no intentions of harming his family nor mine. He had a drinking problem for sure because this resulted in his 4th dui accident, with this one causing a fatality. He had gone to a bar to meet his friends and cash his paycheck as they did every Friday night. This night he stayed too long and drank so much he never knew he hit anything until her bike crashed threw his windshield.
Because he was driving the company truck, he lost his job, he lost his wife because she lost any hope in him changing and this young man lost his home because he couldn't find another job.

He stood outside the hall where we had my daughters wake and asked for me. When I went outside he almost collapsed in my arms as he wept, I held his shaking body in my arms and wept with him. Because he couldn't get control of a problem he had he ruined his life and I still pray daily he has control now.

Many of us have weaknesses we are most aware of and can do something about, I was an alcoholic myself but have been sober for many years. It is not in my heart to hate this young man, nor judge him, but, it is in my heart to pray for his salvation.

Don't punish your self for what you were, rejoice in what you have become. I'm sure your parents love you and have forgiven you long ago. Keep your head up high for you have righted your wrong and Thank God for his help, that's all we can do .

God is good.I will also pray for this young man.God knows his name and that's all that matters.What a testament you have for others. I don't share my past either. I believe God leads us and you and I are just doing what God wanted us to do.

It has taken many years for me to stop punishing myself. My wife has helped me and I am blessed to have such a strong wife.

You and your family will also be in my prayers-until I forget which maybe be tomorrow or 10 years from now. Aging is rough
