On second thoughts seeing as many Republicans seem not to be that stellar in their support of the President and his policies/nominations so does the popularity or supposed popularity of the President make any difference. Though I suppose the average man in the street may not be aware of the support or otherwise the President is given by the candidate.

Yeah but notice they never report the Pro Bush numbers like the favor ability rating or support for the war in Iraq. What the Chicken Little Freerpers fail to realize is Modern Journalism is MARKETING. They always over hype and exaggerate so the good news is never as good as they claim and the bad news is never nearly as bad as they make it out to be. What the Right needs to realize is quit trying to defend on the Left's terms and go on the attack. When some hysteric starts spewing nonsense like Biden Or Clinton or whoever, the very first response should be "Just for the sake of argument let's assume you are right, what do you purpose we do about this?"

The sorry fact is the Hysteric Left is intellectually bankrupt. They have NO ideas. So when you use this sort of mental judo on them, they go sailing thur the plate glass window of reality. See, the Left gets away with always attacking in the most hysteric, hyperbolic terms their opponents. When they are taken out of their emotional propaganda speak and force to actually ADDRESS issues, they look like complete loons.

Now on CNN with Howie Howie on "Unreliable sources" they are yakking about the shuttle. I am going to send Nasa a care package form my work.

In it will be a fishing rod and reel to cast out and retrieve stuff when it's lost in space, Elmer's glue, epoxy glue, fisherman's pliers, nail clippers, a hacksaw with very small teeth, black Reebok sneakers for walking on space ships,Chewing gum and crazy glue. With all that stuff they should be able to keep the mission on track for the next few years and no one at NASA will have to admit any guilt whatsoever.

Most rat arguments are based on emotional responses to hard solid questions we raise. I think that is what GW has done so well is to put them on the defense. It is impossible to respond to most rat questions since they are made up fantasies anyway.

You have hit the dirty secret the Left doesn't want you to know. I suspect there are about 1/3 of the American Population who are upset with Bush for NOT BEING TOUGH ENOUGH. So they poll as "Disapproving of Bush's handling of Iraq" but still would pick Bush over the Democrats Cut and Run strategy. What everyone seems to miss is that the Dims never can get more then about 38% of the population to poll as being in favor of their run away and hide idea. The other thing, I wonder is how much of that 38% is the Isolationist Hard Right who would have the US pull out of everywhere, come home, build a wall completely around the country and let no foreign people or goods in at all? Iraq is strange that way. Normally the Hysteric Left, and the Hard Right, are mortal enemies but On Iraq they both agree. One out of a knee jerk appeasement mindset, the other out of rabid isolations thinking.
