LOS ANGELES - Although they were born on different planets, Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage's new son and Superman have something in common - both were named Kal-el.
Alice Kim Cage gave birth Monday to Kal-el Coppola Cage in New York City, said the actor's Los Angeles-based publicist, Annett Wolf. No other details were available, the spokeswoman said.
There was actually a story in one of the Superman/Superboy comix MANY years ago telling how it was done. After forty years or so, I don't recall how, though.

I was just recalling finding 1 of my old HS friends' sister on line several years ago. I chatted w/her a while, and to my dismay (but not big surprise) she mentions she has twin girls -
"Maya" and "Angelique"

My sister is expecting her second child next spring. I told her if it is a girl, I like Laura or Condoleeza. ;) A boy perhaps should be Ronald. I would have said George Walker for a boy but I am a little disillusioned with GWB now, as many of us are.

I know one mother who named her children Kismet, Calliope and Atticus. I've heard of three little boys named Atticus.

Actually, with Moon Unit and Dweezil already taken, he had little choice.
When the kid gets to elementary school, the other kids will shorten the name to Kale which means cabbage. He'll be teased and called (K)Cabbage Cage or Sauerkraut.
