Did the White Sox win or something?
Signed, a Cubs fan.

Well, we know who to root againts. Hillay's cheating Black Sox of 2005.
Go 'Stros (or Cards, depending on outcome).
Sox played well all year and in this series. Too bad they lost any respect they earned.

I'm happy about this but I'm still waiting for the Cubs. (Hey, hey holy mackerel!)

I Hope the Sox Lose. Umpires were the worst. They gave the sox the momentum.

Yup, I'm one of those who was around to remember the last time.
My High School Senior year began with the last Chicago White Sox World Series vs. our newly transplanted Los Angeles Dodgers.
Major League Baseball had indeed ARRIVED out West.

Four consecutive complete games is remarkable. A Houston/CHISOX World Series would be great for baseball. I'll have to root for the Astros to finally win a championship. (Note: St. Louis still could win the NL, but it's not looking good for them.)

They would have won in 1919 if tight-wad Comisky would have paid his players enough.
The should dedicate this WS to Shoeless Joe.

Could you believe it when they showed 97-year-old Al Lopez? Al Lopez! He was old when I was a little kid in the 60's!! I can't believe he's still around.
And he got to see the Sox back in the Series. How about that!

What happened to Vlad Guerrero in this series? One of the best hitters in baseball during the regular season- his average (after his first at-bat tonight) for this series was .059! Talk about a fall!
