What part of "nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof" do they not understand?
It's one thing they work overtime on, diligently, for as long as it takes.
Actually, the phrase ignored by the ignoramous at UW-EC is "shall never be infringed" (see #162 for the relevant section of the Wisconsin constitution).
Well if the dorm they supervise is also the dorm they live in, then they ~should~ be able to conduct the religious Bible study. Also if you work at a company and your employer asks you not to study your Bible (or any other book), then if it is during ~work~ hours then sure they can ask you not, to: that isn't what they are paying you for, but if you are on ~break/lunch/whatever~ then they can't ask you not to read or conduct your Bible study; I doubt that this RA is always offically 'Working'~ :)~!
I am absolutely numbed by the relentless attack on religious liberties. Are there enough Jay Sekulows to go araound?
They most certainly can tell me not to hold a Bible study class on their premises, whether I'm on the clock or not.

Pretty much. If the RA is in the dorm, he's on call. That's the whole point of having an RA. If he's outside the dorm, this rule has no effect.

Looks like all of it.
I'm involved in a dormitory Bible study group and a Christian community group in another dorm. Neither of those are held in RA dorms, though.
Still, if someone tried to tell us to stop with either of those functions, I would definitely make some noise about it.

Oh and even if they were always working, like I said we Americans haven't completely checked (or should even have to) our religious beliefs at the door of Government (an university in this case..). Last time I checked we as Americans still believed the in the free exercise of religion in this nation; it hasn't been completely removed from public office, and I hope it ~NEVER~ does, at least in theory anyway (We haven't) :)..

I found RAs in college to be unapproachable when you could hear them spanking their monkeys in their own dorm rooms.
Actually they worship in secret locations, and use a fish as a secret symbol to tell who is a Christian and who isn't. Sounds familiar doesn't it.
The entire state of Wisconsin is becoming as liberal as Massachusettes, California and Oregon. They are a wacked bunch those cheese heads.
