A little more seriously, do we have a Radio Free Mideast up and running yet? Radio Free Europe helped get information into Eastern Europe to put pressure on the Soviet Union. We should have been doing the same thing to the thugocracies in the Mid-East for a long time now, especially after 9/11.

I've often said that what Iraq, Iran, etc. need is MTV. A couple of months of that and maybe the young males age 17-35 will no longer want to strap explosives to themselves but to grab a guitar instead (after their brains all turn to mush, that is). Jihad -- west coast style.
