Fear not for the future of Jorge P. He's being positioned as the next link in the Bush dynasty. When America will no longer elect old white guys to major office, P will be the electable face of the Bush family.

He can speak Spanish so that's a big one there.

What's not to like?

Well, Mexico is in a dictatorship. Mexico is a complete mess period. I have read articles about Mexican president candidates and they are really all the same.

I've read that the next possible President of Mexico is a Socialist and things could change quite a bit.

That pic and all the stats I've seen don't bode well as to whom these "undocumented workers" are likely to vote for

That seems to indicate that at least half of those still in Mexico, yearn to participate in our way of life.

Maybe we could persuade them to join us in a invasion of Mexico and establishing our form of government and way of life there and saving them the pain of a trip north.

From PBS...not a very right wing source.....

http://www.pbs.org/thinktank/transcript954.html

"The United Nations estimated Mexico's 1989 population at 86.7 million with two million additions annually. The 1992 Mexican survey found 85.6 million residents; a short-fall of seven million persons. It also found up to ten percent more women than men in the young adult age groups 20-39. Where have these people, particularly the men, vanished?"

At this point, that might be our only recourse.

There are the equivilent of an army division's worth of men coming north over our border every couple of days now.

"This jackass P going to support illegal aliens speaks volumes about the dissipated Bush family"

You better believe that Prescott Bush got prior permission from Presidente Jorge Bush before attending this protest rally. This was signed off on by our very own President. You know, you really wonder at the President's motivation here. He's not up for re-election, so he personally doesn't need the illegal vote. I think he has all sorts of ulterior motives here, the fact that there is a "brown" component to his family, as Bush Sr. would say, via his brother Jeb Bush's family. Big Oil is playing a part here as the Mexicans now have a fair amount of it to ship to us, and just like with the Arab Sheiks Bush cozies up to, he also cozies up to Vincente Fox. And primarily, Bush is a globalist, just like his old man is, and sees a North America with no borders at all, neither on our northern border nor on our southern one. Of course, what our country will turn into (Atzlan) seems to be very low on his priority list, and the fact that it will leave us with a third world economy. The ugly truth.

"What's not to like?"

Maybe his political persuasion. Maybe just a desperate need to get the hell out of the Bushes, and explore open spaces.

Maybe if we help them take back their own country, they won't covet our's.

They gotta want to take it back.

And the bad part is that their idea of 'taking it back' could be just another Latin strongman.

"is criminal to strong a word?"

You know the drill, onyx. It depends upon one's definition of what "is" is.

Sad but true-Mexicans are their own worst enemies. We can assist in curing their ignorant, but the powers of God would be challenged in any effort to cure the stupid.

I agree 100% that having the border patrol equipped with toy guns is reprehensible. They should be armed with SAWs, M16s, 203s, and the like.

Mexico is a different culture, just like PR is. We have little in common with them. Annexing Mexico would be a sure fire, rapid death of our culture. Also, as dollars are a main concern of yours, annexing mexico would deplete our treasury in short order as most of them would immediately qualify for welfare, medicaid, free housing, free this and free that. Think your taxes are high now? Also, who do you think that they would all vote for?
Many take the "illegal route" not because they wish to become citizens, but because they are looking for work. Period!
