there were some very funny moments in scary movie. the satire was spot on, if not all the gags.

'III' was pretty funny... the 'wake-scene' cracks me up.

ROTFLMAO, I haven't seen any of his movies but sure enjoyed his commercial.

It's funnier than anything I've seen on SNL for years.

Are you kidding? Airplane and The Naked Gun are two of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

Of course, considering the current Foley mess, I guess the "Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?" and the "Have you ever seen a grown man naked?" lines didn't make it into the GOP spot. :-)

Do you like Gladiator movies or Men in Prison movies, Ben?

Scary Movie is great.

A bit over the top, but it is satire.

So, I guess you never saw the Samuel L. Bronkowitz production of Catholic High School Girls in Trouble?

How about Fist Full of Yen?

I just watched the ad and found it fabulous! It's funny, believe me, but on the other hand, you can certainly say the subject matter is too serious to be funny. It reveals a very "uncomfortable truth" for the Democrats (complete with the requisite singing of the Democrat "theme song", Kumbya).

Are you serious? "Airplane" is the funniest comedy of all time. And the original "Scary Movie" as well.

In addition to Airplane and The Naked Gun trilogy, check out Top Secret. LOL funny for most of the movie. Val Kilmer's debut I believe.

Police Squad was a short-lived Zucker TV series, only six episodes. It was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen, with fantastic sight gags, visual puns, and parodies of many stereotypes. I don't LOL much, but it has had me ROTFLMAO.

I agree it is too much for TV, but that is a great ad! Thanks for the thread -- I registered with You Tube just to see it.
