I can't see that breaking for Withdrawal Webb any which way you cut it. At best (or worst) it splits 50-50.

I'm going by CNN's current by-county VA numbers, which give Webb 8k more from Richmond City. Now that Petersburg is fully in and Allen's lead is only 6k on CNN, Allen is toast.

military absentte will probably break close to 50/50.

I'd be incredibly shocked beyond belief if this really comes true.

I don't get it, a lot of the dem house "gains" shown on fox ticker are by smaller numbers than the Allen/Webb race with much smaller percentages reported in.

I'm using the numbers straight from the Virginia State Board of Elections:

http://sbe.virginiainteractive.org/index.htm

They're unofficial, but I figure right now they're more "official" than anything CNN's got.

RICHMOND CITY -
2000
Allen 20,211 31.00%
Robb 44,966 68.97%

2004
Kerry 52,167 70.19%
Bush 21,637 29.11%

Wilder can't pull it out for them without going to jail, even though the House goes Dem.
The change in the Allen vote from 2000 is already suspicious.

They ran as conservatives in the end. And Webb never mentioned
that he was a Democrat.

I personally didn't agree with Allens campaign agenda stuck on abortion.

No problem.

Michael Barone did an analysis on Steele and why Fox is calling it for Cardin. He looked at districts where Steele had won but by much lower margins than Erlich did when he ran for Governor and won. What was outstanding were areas that go democrat and by huge margins.

because we don't cheat in our districts - so what's the point of holding back numbers there.

Allen is going to be in a recount and whatever the outcome his future is bleak on the national level.

The GOP failed on a number of fronts in this cycle but it was going to be a crapshoot given historical events in second term elections.

4 precincts left in Richmond, figure another 1000-1500 votes for Webb. After that, basically, it's mostly up to Prince William County. There's 5 in Loudoun, 3 in Fairfax, 1 in Arlington, and 1 in Virginia Beach that also are not counted on that website yet.
