~ FReeper Canteen ~ I would send (fill in the blank) to our Troops for Christmas? |
Welcome to the FReeper Canteen! It's great to have you with all of us!! Thank you to all of our Troops, Veterans, and their families for allowing us to entertain you! |
|
We Want To Know...
|
What would you send to our Troops this holiday season?
We're usually silly in here, but today we thought we'd ask a somewhat serious question. If you could send something to our Troops this holiday season, what would it be and why? Holidays can be lonely for even some of us that are stateside, but imagine being in Iraq, Afghanistan, Djibouti, Gitmo, or elsewhere and far away from your family. What would you want to have if you were so far away? Make it as silly, serious, or fun as you want it to be. Please don't make it political!

First and foremost.. a Texas sized thank you and prayer
Not necessarily in this order:
A real homemade Christmas dinner, with all of the trimmings, including playtime in the snow.
A Cowboys win (had to put football in there)
Pole dances for the boys
Pampered tent treatments for the girls ..pink cammo, furry stuff, candles, deep tubs and tons of bubble bath and wine tasting
Last but not least..REINDEER GAMES.. jello twister, muddy football games and a restful nights sleep.
